Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 3 was devoid of action, and while some viewers may not have enjoyed it, the episode was still fascinating. In the second episode, Yuji and his group reached Tengen with Choso's help. Considering Tengen has been alive for such a long time, it is safe to say that he possesses a great deal of information about everything that has transpired in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Toji vs Maki - Who Is Stronger?
Maki Zenin and Toji Fushiguro, the black sheep of the Zenin clan, sure know how to make a mess, but which of them is stronger?
Tengen informed Yuji's group about Kenjaku's plan to evolve humanity, and it was one that could change the entire world forever. He also shared all the rules for the Culling Game.
The Culling Game's Rules Have Been Revealed
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 3 was primarily focused on revealing information related to the Culling Game. Tengen revealed that there are eight primary rules that must be followed at all costs. Players who refused to abide by them would ultimately be killed. After the details had been disclosed, Tsukumo and Choso decided to stay behind with Tengen, who feared that Kenjaku could attack at any time. Before uttering a single word, Tengen stated his condition, where two people from Tsukumo, Choso, and Yuta had to stay behind to guard him. Eventually, it was decided that Tsukumo and Choso would protect Tengen.
Meanwhile, Maki and Megumi Fushiguro decide to head to the Zenin clan treasury to look for cursed tools that might come in handy for the Culling Game. Normally, it would have been impossible for them to do so, but after Megumi was named the Zenin clan head, they could easily access the treasury.
Yuta and Yuji decided to head to one of the colonies to participate in the Culling Game and get a head start on finding Angel, the sorcerer capable of erasing any cursed technique. Tengen made it clear that Angel's power would allow the heroes to undo the Prison Realm and free Gojo Satoru. As Gojo's students, they feel inclined to save him. Additionally, they need to free Gojo because he is humanity's biggest weapon against cursed spirits. Without him, jujutsu sorcerers are at a significant disadvantage, and they could end up losing the battle.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 4 will be released on January 22nd, 2026. It is titled, "Perfect Preparation." The episode will predominantly focus on Maki and Fushiguro, and they head to the Zenin clan's treasury. Maki has been mistreated by her own clanspeople, which is why she harbors a great deal of resentment towards them. Likewise, the higher-ups of the Zenin clan are not impressed with Maki's lack of cursed energy.
Fushiguro has never been a part of the Zenin clan's politics, but that won't stop Naoya Zenin from killing. The latter was introduced in the first episode of JJK Season 3, and he made it quite apparent that he would kill Megumi Fushiguro to claim leadership of the Zenin Clan. From his debut, it's clear as day that Naoya is a powerful sorcerer who refuses to show his opponents any mercy. Since he feels anger towards Megumi, the latter would do well to survive. Thankfully, Megumi won't have to face Naoya alone, as Maki is accompanying him. She is more skilled than Megumi, but Naoya will prove to be a challenge even for her.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 4 will be available to stream on Crunchyroll and Netflix. The anime will have Japanese audio along with English subtitles. Fans have the option to change subtitles as well if they prefer another language. The dubbed version of JJK Season 3 Episode 4 will come out at a later date. Following the release of Episode 4, there will only be 9 more episodes left. It's worth mentioning that MAPPA has branded the first 13 episodes as JJK Season 3 Part 1, so it's highly likely that the Culling Game arc will conclude in the subsequent installment.
