Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is moving at a blistering pace right now, and fans know that Gege Akutami is doing a brilliant job at giving fans more exposition when it comes to the world of JJK 68 years into the future, and at the same time, the throwing some exciting battles into the mix as well. The focus of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is quite clearly the next generation of sorcerers and Gege set up Maki and Yuta's grandchildren, Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, to lead the story. However, that clearly doesn't mean that the old generation doesn't get any focus.

JJK just killed off two major characters, and fans are shocked.
Gege Akutami is clearly involving the likes of Yuji Itadori as well. Even Nobara Kugisaki returned officially in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 13. But, it is quite clear that the old generation characters are dying one after another, and Yuji Itadori's death has officially been set up in the story now.
Yuji Itadori Cannot Age Anymore In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo
In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo chapter 13, it has officially been confirmed that Yuji Itadori, the protagonist of the original JJK series, doesn't age anymore. This makes perfect sense because he was given birth to by Kenjaku as the perfect vessel for Sukuna. Yuji stopped aging at a certain point, and since then, he has been living in misery. This is because he continues to see all his friends around him die one by one, while he can't do anything about it.

It also means that he cannot fulfill the wish of his grandpa, which is to die surrounded by those he loves. Yuji also cannot help those around him who are falling, and this is precisely why he has cut himself off from the sorcerer society and lives in isolation.
Gege Akutami Sets Up Yuji's Death in A Battle
Interestingly enough, it seems that Yuji Itadori's character arc will finally conclude in JJK Modulo. The reason why is quite clear to see as well. Fans have already seen Mahito in JJK Modulo and it is evident that he is waiting for Yuji in the other realm. Yuji simply cannot age anymore and thus can't die. But, the fact that Mahito still waits for him means that their eventual meeting has already been set up.

Jujutsu Kaisen Reveals The Next Gojo Satoru Of Japan
The Next Gojo Satoru will rise in the world of JJK Modulo and become Japan's very best sorcerer.
At the same time, Yuji wants to fulfill his grandfather's desire of wanting to be surrounded by those he loves. This means that Yuji Itadori will eventually die in JJK Modulo and that is one of the core plot points of this series.
Yuji is also the strongest, which is also why he is the loneliest, just like Gojo and Sukuna before him. In other words, this means that only by meeting someone stronger than him can Yuji finally be at peace as he dies.
Yuji Vs Dabura Is Coming

The character who will officially kill Yuji Itadori has already been introduced in JJK Modulo. It shouldn't come as a surprise to any fan that Dabura is an incredibly powerful monster and he is the one whom Yuji will eventually fight. Japanese sorcerers are currently looking for Yuji to stand in the death match against Dabura. However, Yuji is nowhere to be found. This is precisely why Yuka Okkotsu has been chosen as the representative of the humans in the deathmatch.
However, it is highly unlikely that this battle will result in Yuka's death. At some point, Yuji might intervene in this battle and take over himself, which will then give fans a death match between Yuji Itadori and Dabura. This battle will most likely be won by Dabura, which will finally give peace to Yuji Itadori and allow him to meet Mahito in the other world.
