This article contains spoilers from Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has done an absolutely brilliant job with all the major characters so far. Fans have seen Gege Akutami set up a whole new generation of characters 68 years later into the story, and things only seem to be getting better with each passing chapter. Still, the mark of the old characters and of the story remains. One particular character that fans can't get over is Gojo Satoru.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Akutami Has Officially Revealed The Power Level Of The Alien King
The Alien King is powerful, and Gege just revealed his power level in JJK Modulo.
Fans know Gojo to be the face of the entire JJK franchise, which is why he is still spoken of even today. It is now essentially confirmed that 68 years later, another sorcerer of the same calibre as Gojo appeared and that is none other than the old protagonist, Yuji Itadori. Fans already knew that he had the potential to reach the exact same power level as Sukuna. Given that he has now been confirmed to fulfill that potential, it is now essentially a fact that Yuji Itadori surpassed the likes of Gojo Satoru as an adult, and Gege has already explained how.
Gojo Was Surpassed By The Next Strongest, Yuji Itadori
Gojo Satoru was a brilliant sorcerer the likes of which Japan had not seen in about 400 years. He was the strongest modern sorcerer, capable of rivaling even Sukuna in combat. Gojo was an absolute monster, but in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, he ended up losing his life in the battle against Sukuna, especially because he was fighting a handicap battle.
We need to find Yuji Itadori and make him our deterrent against the Simurians. — Japanese Sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen
When Gojo died, it felt as if Japan would never have a sorcerer as talented as him. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. 68 years later, it has been confirmed that Japan birthed another monster in Yuji Itadori.
Fans know that Yuji had tremendous potential within him. However, the fact is that he went on to fulfill it and stand as Japan's very strongest. In Modulo, Yuji was confirmed to be a sorcerer on the same level as Gojo, which means he had reached Special Grade. However, just because they were on the same level doesn't mean that Yuji could not have gone beyond.
Yuji Is A Threat That Can Deter Dabura
The main threat that Gege has painted in JJK Modulo is quite clearly Dabura. Even though the plot of the story is coexistence between the Simurians and the humans, the fact is that to create some sort of tension, a powerful figure on the opposing end is needed, and that is none other than Dabura. Dabura is said to be as strong as Sukuna, potentially even stronger, given that he has 50,000 Simurians with him.
Let's try it one more time, Sukuna. Let's start from scratch. — Yuji Itadori to Sukuna
68 Years After Gojo's Fall, Gege Akutami Confirms The New Strongest Sorcerer In Jujutsu Kaisen
Gojo was Japan's strongest sorcerer, but that isn't the case anymore. Japan has a new number 1 in JJK Modulo.
The fact is that Japan thinks that Yuji Itadori can act as a deterrent against them, and that in itself is a huge statement. It goes to show that he went on to fulfil his potential, which was officially confirmed to be equal to that of Sukuna, which makes him stronger than Gojo and potentially even Sukuna himself.
Yuji Fulfilled His Sukuna Level Potential
Yuji is quite a special character and it is this special nature of his that makes him stronger than Gojo and Sukuna. The fact is that Yuji was birthed by Kenjaku, and he is not a normal human. He has superhuman strength, but more than that, a body that doesn't even grow old. Whereas others would grow weaker with age, Yuji only gains more experience and strength.
On top of that, he doesn't just have the Shrine cursed technique, but also Blood Manipulation. He could very well have two different domain expansions at this point. His potential with Shrine alone was equal to Sukuna, but considering his special body, and the fact that he has another cursed technique, he could very well have surpassed him easily and left even Gojo in the dust.
