Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has been incredible so far, especially in the world-building department. While the original JJK series stuck to familiar locations and established characters, the sequel expands the lore with new faces, races, locations, and even a new version of cursed energy. Fans are now getting a broader view of the world, and the story feels larger in scale.
On that note, aliens are present in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. They are called Simurians, and all of them possess third eyes, which act as the source of their cursed energy called Rolloluca. With Rolloluca as their core power, Simurians can probably do the same thing as Jujutsu sorcerers, from offensive assaults to defensive and utility-based jujutsu applications.
At present, the Rolloluca, or the cursed energy of the aliens, seems more destructive than that of typical Jujutsu sorcerers. Still, this is only an initial impression, and the true potential and limits of their foreign cursed energy remain a mystery. Besides, the current generation of sorcerers in Japan pales in comparison to the old, which may explain why an alien’s Rolloluca appears so overwhelmingly powerful.

As revealed in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 9, a special ore called Mul exists on the Simurian planet, serving as a valuable resource that drives conflict among Rumelians and Deskuntes. Mul ores can convert Rolloluca into all forms of energy, granting those Simurian clans who possess large reserves and quarries the ability to amplify cursed energy in unprecedented ways.
While the original series attempted to use Gojo Satoru’s cursed energy to power a country, JJK Modulo makes the concept a reality with the introduction of Mul ores and the trafficking of Japanese Jujutsu sorcerers with high levels of cursed energy. Fans have long speculated about these events, and the latest chapters bring these theories to fruition. However, there are still many unanswered questions about the consequences of exploiting sorcerers, as well as their long-term impact.

Among the Simurians, the manga establishes Maru and Cross’ Rolloluca as exceptional, showing that when amplified, the purity of their cursed energy surpasses even that of the Mul ores. Based on Jabaloma’s expressions, this is a good thing, suggesting that their immense power is something to be respected and harnessed wisely.
