Due to this, towards the start of the arc, Maki and Mai are taken in by the clan and are left at death's door, which eventually leads to Maki's insane new power-up.
With this power-up, her Heavenly Restriction is fully realized, which allows her to go on a rampage that completely erases the Zenin Clan from the face of the Earth, putting an end to their evil and regressive ways for good. Not only is this cathartic, but it makes for a shining moment for one of Jujutsu Kaisen's most beloved characters who will surely stand out in season 3.
Yuta Takes On Some Powerful Ancient Sorcerers At Once

With the release of the prequel film to season 3, it was confirmed that Yuta would finally be returning to the setting, which was great to see since fans have always loved this character. Due to this, seeing the man with the greatest Cursed Energy reserves in the setting, which is even greater than Gojo and Sukuna, was always going to sit well with fans.
However, fans simply aren't ready for the absolute tear that Yuta goes on in this arc, especially in his awesome fight against Ryu and Uro in the Sendai Colony battle. This fight shows three powerhouses using their mastered Cursed Techniques against one another, eventually culminating in the iconic three-way Domain Expansion.

However, taking advantage of a certain situation regarding Megumi, Sukuna made good of his Binding Vow with Yuji.
By shouting 'Enchain', Sukuna managed to rip off his own finger and feed it to Megumi, resulting in him taking over his body by supplanting his soul away from Yuji's. This was one of the most shocking moments in the entirety of Jujutsu Kaisen and it showed Sukuna achieving a state that was far stronger than ever before, serving as the perfect foundation for his ultimate battle.

Gojo's Return Was Long Awaited And Inspired Everyone

Throughout the Shibuya Incident and Culling Game arcs, everyone always spoke about how none of this would have happened if Gojo were present, which is why Kenjaku made sure to trap him inside the Prison Realm for the duration of these arcs. So, naturally, one of the primary goals of the heroes in the Culling Game was to release Gojo from his imprisonment.
Coincidentally, this coincided with Sukuna in Megumi's body at his full power, setting the stage for the greatest Jujutsu battle in history. Naturally, many were concerned about how Gojo would tackle this fight, but the strongest of the modern era ensured everyone that he would win, proving that throughout the history of the world, him and Sukuna were the only ones who have ever been capable of challenging each other as the strongest sorcerers of all time.
