Solo Leveling Season 2 also broke quite a few records on the Crunchyroll platform, including being its most reviewed anime series ever. It’s easy to say that Solo Leveling has become extremely popular, competing with big, already established series.
However, Solo Leveling Season 2 concluded in early 2025, and since then, no new information has been revealed about its third season. Now, recently, new information suggests that Solo Leveling Season 3 won't happen at all. Instead, the studio appears to be going for a Solo Leveling movie in 2026. Fans were hoping for an anime comeback in early 2026, but that's extremely unlikely now.

While Solo Leveling isn't getting a new season next year, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is making its grand return, and no matter which way fans look at it, JJK is the true King of anime series at the moment. Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 is being released on January 8, 2026, and fans can’t wait. Fans have already seen trailers and early screenings of the Culling Game Arc has confirmed that the series looks better than ever before and features incredible action the likes of which surpasses even Season 2. JJK Season 2 already won Anime of the Year, so an even better Season will go even beyond and dethrone Solo Leveling for good.

Jujutsu Kaisen fans are stoked for the content that’s to come in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, and based on everything that's been revealed about it so far, it will inevitably become the greatest season of the franchise.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 is going to give the fans a new take on the series, featuring stunning art and direction. From the trailers that are already out, the animation and art look to be incredibly fluid, and fans can’t wait.
Art and animation aside, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is also about to adapt some of the best parts of the manga, kickstarting the Culling Game arc. The Culling Game is about to be intense, and from here onwards, fans won’t get a second to breathe in between events.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 officially premieres on January 8, 2026. Fans can watch the series on Crunchyroll. Jujutsu Kaisen also has a sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, which runs in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 10 will be released on November 9, 2025.
