Jump Festa 2025 took place on December 21-22, 2024, bringing news from lots of different Shonen Jump titles. This is the biggest event for the magazine, and Shueishe has held it every year since 1999.

Fans of series like One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Demon Slayer the world were able to watch all the stage presentations through the official stream on the Shonen Jump YouTube channel. But with so much news coming, it's easy to feel a bit lost about what has been announced. So, let's dive into the main news revealed during the event.

Jujtsu Kaisen, Spy x Family, Dandadan and more on Day 1

Jujutsu Kaisen revealed a teaser visual for season 3, which will cover the Culling game act. They also scheduled the compilation movie that will recap the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc from season 2 for May 2025. At the same time, the official account posted on X/Twitter that the final volume of the manga will include a new epilogue. Gege Akutami also teased that they are working on a new project.

Sakamoto Days dropped a new main trailer ahead of the anime premiere in January. For those who aren't familiar with this series, it's about a former hitman who wants to live a peaceful family life.

Dandadan confirmed the second season will air in July 2025 with a returning main staff, and also dropped a trailer.

Spy x Family also confirmed the third season is slated for October 2025, and shared a new visual for it, drawn by character designer Kazuaki Shimada.

3-Nen Z-Gumi Ginpachi-Sensei anime revealed a new trailer, but the release date remains to be announced (it is slated for 2025). As also expected, they revealed that the 2012 compilation movie for the Shinsegumi arc will be getting new screenings in Japan in February. Maybe we can expect more information about the new anime in that month.

Witch Watch also dropped a new trailer and revealed a two consecutive cour run (around 26 episodes). The anime is scheduled for April 2025.

Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku dropped new information on the second season, including a January 2026 release window and a trailer. Crunchyroll confirmed it will stream the series. The first season aired in 2023. Check the video out.

Dragon Ball Super manga has not been confirmed to return, but it will be receiving a new special chapter in February, focused on Trunks and Goten. Fans now expect the series to go out of hiatus in March. They also announced a new set with all 42 volumes of Dragon Ball featuring two covers (the standard one and another cover drawn by renowned manga artists). Two brand-new illustrations featuring Majin Kuu and Majin Duu, drawn by Akira Toriyama himself, were shown at the panel, but they haven't been published online.

Minor But Relevant News on Day 1

Not every single piece of new information is big, so here we're dropping some information revealed during the event that might not get that much spotlight.

My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man, One Piece,and More on Day 2

The second and last day started with big announcements for My Hero Academia. The final season has been officially scheduled for Fall 2025, and an anime adaptation of the Vigilantes spin-off has also been confirmed for 2025 with a trailer.

As expected, Chainsaw Man dropped news about the Reze arc movie. It is now slated for 2025, and the main trailer has been revealed:

One Piece dropped major news. The anime will return on April 6, so it will air on Sundays, but now during the evening. A Japanese-Chinese animation will air in the previous timeslot. Also, Subaru Kimura will be the new voice actor for Franky. A message from Eiichiro Oda teases that a new movie might be coming, but nothing has been officially announced on this front. Here's a teaser for upcoming Egghead arc episodes.

Blue Exorcist shared a new trailer for the upcoming Blue Night Saga, which starts broadcasting in January. It features the new theme songs, "Tsukaku" and "Overlap", perfrmed by amazarashi and Shiyui, respectively.

Kaiju No. 8 confirmed the second season is slated for July 2025. They also unveiled a new trailer for the compilation movie, which has been confirmed to debut worlwide. It will premiere in Japan on March 28, 2025, and probably later in international territories.

Finally, Blue Box confirmed the second cour will run from January 2, 2025, and shared a trailer featuring the new theme songs, "Shikaraba" and "Contrast", performed by Macaroni Enpitsu and TOMOO, respectively.
