How to Recruit Scientists in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Before you can recruit any scientists, you must first construct a Control Center. This building acts as the heart of your park’s operations and is where all staff management takes place.

Once it’s up and running, select the Control Center and open the Recruit Scientists option. This will bring up a list of available candidates, each with different skills, specializations, and salary requirements. Every scientist comes with their own traits, skill ratings, and training potential, which affect how well they perform certain tasks.

When choosing who to hire, it’s important to compare their skill levels and salaries against your park’s current needs and budget. If you’re not satisfied with the available candidates, wait for it to update automatically after a short period.

Initially, you’ll only be able to hire up to five scientists, but you can expand your roster later by building Staff Centers. These facilities let you employ more scientists and train and improve their abilities over time.

Once you’ve chosen a scientist, confirm the hire. You’ll need to pay both an upfront recruitment cost and ongoing salary fees.

How to Fire Scientists in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Scientist Options Jurassic World 3

At some point in Jurassic World Evolution 3, you may need to part ways with certain scientists. This could be to reduce costs, remove someone with negative traits, or make space for more skilled recruits. Since the number of scientists you can employ at once is limited, you’ll need to regularly replace weaker or unproductive staff with better candidates.

To fire a scientist, follow these steps:

How to Fire Scientists in Jurassic World Evolution 3
  • Open the Scientists Menu from your Control Center.
  • Locate the scientist you want to remove from your roster.
  • Select “Scientist Options” on the right side of the menu.
  • Choose “Fire” and confirm your decision.

Once fired, that scientist is permanently removed and cannot be rehired. This process immediately frees up one of your staff slots. This way, you can bring in a new scientist with improved stats, traits, or training potential.
