Based on a recent report, Kaguya-sama: Love is War won't be releasing a fourth season of the anime. Instead, the series will get an original movie called Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – THE FINAL CHAPTER.

The decision to put out a movie makes sense in just one way—the studio wants to earn more money from the project. Otherwise, the studio could have simply released the fourth season and covered everything at a steady pace.

However, there have been rumors of Aka Akasaka and the anime team having a discussion about Kaguya-sama's future. According to the rumor, the author and the team decided that Kaguya-sama: Love is War won't just be a regular anime adaptation. Instead, it would have something completely new that fans had never seen before.

Aka Akasaka realized that it would be challenging for the staff, but he didn't back down from his decision. So, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – THE FINAL CHAPTER will be supervised by Aka Akasaka, which is positive news.
