Twitch and Kick streamer Adin Ross has opened up about a massive $140 million offer that Kick made to him, Kai Cenat, and IShowSpeed, which ended up being rejected by the latter two. Kick, which launched in late 2022 to take on Twitch, has been aggressively chasing big names as it tries to build its platform.
Adin Ross was one of the first major streamers to make the switch to Kick and later pushed other top creators to follow. In 2023, after Kai Cenat’s hugely successful Twitch subathon called Mafiathon, which shattered several platform records, he was briefly banned. During that time, Adin got in touch and tried to convince him to move over. He told Kai that Twitch made $20 million off him, while Kai only got $2 million, and claimed Kick wouldn’t ever ban him. Still, Kai didn’t sign the Kick deal and eventually revealed a show with IShowSpeed on Rumble.

Adin Ross brought the offer back into the spotlight during a recent stream, sharing details about a conversation with Eddie Craven, CEO of the growing streaming platform Kick. According to Ross, Craven said there was "$140 million" available for him, Kai Cenat, and IShowSpeed, and that it was just for the "first year," with zero need to do "any gambling" on stream. Adin stressed that the deal could’ve gone further, with a chance to re-sign after the first year. Split three ways, each of them would’ve been looking at close to $50 million right out of the gate.
Kai Cenat Turned Down Millions from Kick to Stay on Twitch
On the other hand, Kai Cenat also spoke about why he passed on the offer during a recent stream. Twitch star said he doesn’t like contracts that mess with his "streaming time" or get in the way of his "community." He added that he had "turned down millions" to stay on Twitch, where he felt he had more control. It’s also worth noting that this isn’t the first time the amount Kick offered to Kai has been discussed online. Back in 2024, Kai mentioned that Kick offered $60 million if he streamed half of his first subathon on their platform and then announced his switch.
Kai Cenat’s call to stick with Twitch seems to be working out. His growth has been nonstop, and right now, Kai Cenat has over 18 million followers on the platform. IShowSpeed is also doing well, sitting at more than 42 million YouTube subscribers and recently crossing 1 million followers on Twitch just a few days after making his return. Meanwhile, Kick is also gaining ground, pushing forward as a growing rival in the livestreaming space.
