Popular Twitch partner Kai Cenat is not finished with Elden Ring, as he stated in a May 22 stream that the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC will be the first of seven games he will run as marathons. Following the Elden Ring expansion, Cenat said he would play similar games, including Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and the Dark Souls trilogy, as marathons.
Throughout the spring, Kai Cenat has spread his gaming repertoire away from titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and towards more difficult games and genres. In May, Cenat started one of his longest video game marathons as he played through Elden Ring for six consecutive days. Kai Cenat took on the main story and various optional bosses scattered throughout the Lands Between. Though he fell in battle countless times, one of Kai Cenat's biggest roadblocks in Elden Ring was the fabled Malenia, Blade of Miquella. After 24 hours of consecutive attempts, Kai Cenat defeated the Goddess of Rot to cap off the Elden Ring playthrough.

A few days after he shared his thoughts on the Elden Ring marathon, Kai Cenat gave his followers a list of upcoming marathons to look forward to. In a May 22 Twitch stream, Cenat stated what his next seven marathons would be, and started by declaring he would return to Elden Ring for the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. After exclaiming that playing Elden Ring made other games seem easier, Cenat said he would feel on an equal playing field going into the DLC along with seasoned veterans of the genre. Upon completing Shadow of the Erdtree, Cenat said he would start a marathon of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

After revealing two FromSoftware titles, Cenat stated he would play through the Rockstar Games classic Bully as a palette cleanser. Cenat then clarified he would play Bully before or after Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and said he would make up his mind following Shadow of the Erdtree. However, the next four titles on Cenat's schedule will see him dive back into the Soulslike genre, starting with the PlayStation-exclusive Bloodborne. Cenat stated that the seven-game marathon schedule would conclude with the Dark Souls trilogy, and said that the trilogy would be played in order.
Although six of Kai Cenat's next seven marathons will be challenging FromSoftware titles, the polarizing Twitch streamer has given fans plenty of content to look forward to. Which playstyles Cenat will adopt in each title remains to be seen.
