Kaiju No. 15 is one of the numbered Kaiju that was specifically created to defeat Defence Force prodigy, Kikoru Shinomiya. It was created by Kaiju No. 9 and bears a striking resemblance to Kikoru, with the only difference being her black hair, which contrasts with Kikoru’s blond hair.

Soshiro Hoshina is the vice-captain for the third division of the Defense Force and the man who currently stands beside Mina Ashiro. Born to the famous Hoshina clan, who have been around since before the Muromachi period, he is also the one who has acted as a more hands-on mentor to many of the recruits into Squad 3.
While Soshiro is a vice-captain and considered weaker than Mina, the fact that he can handle close combat and is even stronger than Mina in such combat makes him a very terrifying enemy. He was able to keep up with both Kaiju No. 8 and 9 in combat even when severely disadvantaged. His speed, over 90% output from his suit, and accuracy with his blades make him deserving of a high spot as one of the strongest.

Gen Narumi is so strong that Isao Shinomiya had to continue training just to remain a goal for the gifted captain to reach and keep motivated. Gen was there during the fight between Isao Shinomiya and Kaiju No. 8 and was the fastest to react when he turned human again, almost ending him there and then.
