Kat Dennings, who plays Darcy Lewis in the MCU, shared a funny incident after visiting Disneyland in California. In a post on Thread, she shared that she visited the Avengers Campus and was surprised by the people's reaction. "I went to Avengers Campus at Disneyland and people were waving at me and I forgot why. I genuinely forgot why," she wrote. She shared the post on Instagram and added a hilarious caption, writing, "am I ok?" Dennings seemingly forgot that she was part of the MCU, and fans remembered her role, so they waved to acknowledge her. It's not unusual for actors to forget they are part of a hit franchise, especially when it has been a long time since they were involved in a project. Anna Kendrick also made a similar post in 2018. According to the Trolls star in a post on X, formerly Twitter, she just remembered that she was part of Twilight, a hit vampire romance fantasy.

Lewis made her debut as Darcy in the MCU Thor (2011). She was Jane Foster's (Natalie Portman) intern. She caught fans' attention because she was funny, smart, and relatable. She made the audience laugh by calling Thor's hammer "meow-meow." She served as a comic relief in the film. She reprised her role in Thor: The Dark World (2013). And after years of being off-screen, she made a big return in Elizabeth Olsen's WandaVision TV series in 2021. In the TV show, she's already an expert, a doctor, and an astrophysicist. In a previous interview with Marvel, Dennings admitted that she didn't know the relevance of her appearance in WandaVision because her previous interactions were limited to Thor, Jane Foster and Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard).
