Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is filled with countless side quests and tasks that players can complete to earn valuable Groschen and improve their skills. After completing "Frogs" or "Mice" — or both — players can start the follow-up side quest, "Battle of the Frogs and Mice."
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - How To Travel Between Maps
There are two large maps/regions in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This is how players can travel between them.
The quest is tied to the Truce Trophy/Achievement, but simply finishing the quest won’t unlock the trophy. Players must complete optional objectives and select specific dialogue choices. Here is a complete walkthrough of the Battle of the Frogs and Mice side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
How To Start Battle Of The Frogs and Mice In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
To start the quest, you must first go to Olbram or Prochek and ask if there is anything you can help with. Whoever you talk to will explain that they are planning to meet at the pasture for a fight. If you aim to acquire the Truce Trophy/Achievement, choose the "Wouldn't you rather make up?" Followed by "I'll try to sort out the conflict first" dialogue options.
Make your way to Troskowitz and speak to Bailiff Thrush about the conflict between Tachov and Zhelejov. Ask him to mediate the situation, which will prompt a Speech check. Passing it grants additional Reputation, followed by another Speech check regarding knowledge of books.
How To Translate The Latin Phrase
After this conversation go to the Rathaus and interact with the green book on the lectern. Read through it to find a Latin phrase, which triggers the objective to find someone who speaks Latin. Speak to Scribe Gaibl and ask him to translate the phrase. Choose the second dialogue option, "Fecit ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei." He will mention a pin, marking a new location on your map.
Where To Find The Border Nail In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Fast travel to Tachov and ride west until you reach the open fields. In the middle of the search zone, near the marker, you’ll find a tree with an 
Old Nail embedded in it.
Do not pull out the nail if you're aiming for the Truce Trophy. Leave it as is, then return to Troskowitz and inform the Bailiff of your discovery.
He will instruct you to return to Olbram or Prochek and meet him in the pastures. Speaking to either NPC will trigger an automatic fast travel to the pastures, where a cutscene will play. Select "Isn't it time to make up?" followed by "Would you make up already?" to gain Reputation and earn the Truce Achievement. After the cutscene, talk to the Bailiff to receive the 
Master's Studies I book as a reward and complete the quest.
