- Warhorse Studios pays homage to the talented Elden Ring player with a skeleton Easter egg in the game.
An interesting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Easter egg referencing Elden Ring's Let Me Solo Her has been noticed by an eagle-eyed player. This find has surfaced on the internet amid loads of new players flocking to the highly rated open-world RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
FromSoftware has developed a reputation for making some of the toughest action games in the industry, thanks to the grueling challenges littered throughout. In the recent past, one Elden Ring boss in particular, Malenia, has been described as one of the hardest adversaries created by the Japanese developer. For this reason, when a player, known as Let Me Solo Her, impressively beat the unforgiving villain a ridiculous number of times, he quickly became an internet sensation. It now appears that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 developer, Warhorse Studios, also paid attention to that viral incident and proceeded to pay homage to the talented Elden Ring player through an Easter egg in its newly released game.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Director Responds to Negative Reviews
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 director singles out some of the game's negative reviews, stirring up some social media drama in the process.
In a Reddit post, user szpitalosw revealed an intriguing discovery in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that appears to be a reference to Elden Ring player, Let Me Solo Her. They shared an image that shows a skeleton with a pot covering its skull and some pieces of cloth near its groin, traits that have become highly associated with Let Me Solo Her. Apparently, the similarities don't stop there, as the viral Elden Ring player's iconic dual swords were also found next to these remains, according to szpitalosw. In the comments, one excited user said "Nice spot!" And expressed their curiosity about more such Easter eggs in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance sequel.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Devs Have a History of Hiding References in Their Games
For Warhorse Studios, placing Easter eggs in its games is nothing new. In the past, the Czech developer has given some obvious nods to other IPs, such as The Witcher 3 reference in the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Interestingly, in the 2018 game, the devs included something very similar to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Let Me Solo Her Easter egg when they decided to make a Harry Potter reference by putting some of the latter's iconic items, such as a broomstick and a Quidditch ball, near a skeleton.
As Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players continue to spend more time in the game and stumble across more of its interesting bits, they can also rest assured that the experience is likely to keep them engaged far into the future, with a bunch of post-launch additions coming out later in 2025. On the other hand, since making a name for him by beating Malenia numerous times, Let Me Solo Her may be waiting for the forthcoming Elden Ring spin-off to present him with a new challenge.
