Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 gives you many different ways of upgrading Henry to make your own unique play style. While there are four main stats you'll always want to be leveling up, there are a bunch of derived stats that also need to be factored in along with many different skills to level up.

As you level all these different things up, you'll start to get Perkpoints that can be used to really get a benefit out of leveling up something. Here's exactly when you get Perkpoints along with how they are used.

How To Get Perkpoints In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

A Perkpoint is given every time you level up a main stat or skill. While there are four stats to level up, there are fifteen skills and combat skills to then level up, all with their own ways of getting XP. Each skill and main stat also has an XP bar that can be seen in the Player menu of the inventory, letting you know just how close you are to getting the next Perkpoint. There are derived and secondary stats, though these can't be leveled up with XP so you won't get a Perkpoint whenever they increase.

You can see your total number of Perkpoints available at the bottom of the Player Menu.

How To Use Perkpoints In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The Player Purchasing A Perk In The Menu

There are nineteen things to level up to get skills points, and as you level each up you'll be able to spend your Perkpoints on unlocking new perks for any of those skills or stats. That being said, there is no limitation on how you choose to spend your perkpoints, as they don't need to be spent on the same skill that was used to earn them. Whenever you can unlock a perk for a skill, there will usually be two options available for the one Perkpoint that skill gives you.

There is no limitation to holding on to Perkpoints and spending them later once you decide what skills matter the most to you.

While there is some limitation when only leveling up one skill, leveling them all up will give you enough points to pick and choose which skills you want to prioritize unlocking perks in. Perks that are gray can be purchased once you have an available Perkpoint, and a yellow star will appear to the top right of any perks you can unlock when you have Perkpoints available. In total, there are 275 perks to unlock. The nineteen skills and stats you can level up are:

  • Strength
  • Agility
  • Vitality
  • Speech
  • Alchemy
  • Craftsmanship
  • Drinking
  • Horsemanship
  • Houndmaster
  • Scholarship
  • Stealth
  • Survival

  • Heavy Weapons
