Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 developer Warhorse Studios has revealed just how big the game's upcoming update will be, with 34 pages of patch notes. After launching to rave reviews back in February, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is now gearing up to release its first major content update with patch 1.2. While the new update will include plenty of new content for players to check out, it also looks like there will be a plethora of bug fixes to improve players' experience drastically.
Earlier this week, Warhorse Studios confirmed that the highly anticipated first content update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will launch on Thursday, March 13. The update will be free for all players across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC and will bring a brand new barber feature, modding support for PC users, and a whole bunch of bug fixes. The last update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 came back in February with some key stability improvements, quest fixes, and platform-specific adjustments. But with still plenty of bugs that need to be rectified, Warhorse Studios is preparing to release a mammoth update in just a few days.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's March Update Has 34 Pages of Patch Notes
In a new Twitter post, Warhorse Studios PR Manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling announced that the upcoming Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 update will have 34 pages of patch notes. So get your reading glasses ready, because this is going to be a big one. Although the most notable part of the new update will undoubtedly be the barber feature, which will allow players to give Henry a fresh look with different hair options and beard styles, it looks like there's going to be tons of bug fixes and general improvements. Those on PC will also be pleased to know that patch 1.2 will bring official modding support to the game via Steamworks, allowing players to customize various parts of the massive RPG however they see fit.
Unfortunately, those looking forward to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's new Hardcore mode will seemingly have to wait a little longer, as there has been no confirmation that the mode will be available with patch 1.2 as of writing. Hardcore mode will take Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's realism to the next level by making the game's HUD minimal, with no player position on the map and no cardinal directions on the compass. Players will also be forced to choose three out of the ten negative perks that will stay with them throughout their entire playthrough. These range from "Bad Luck," which reduces the player's carry capacity and puts them at risk of back strain, to "Heavy-Footed," which sees player's shoes wear down much quicker and increases the amount of noise they make.
Fans might have to wait a little longer for the game's highly anticipated Hardcore mode, but most Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players are just eager to see the rain be fixed with patch 1.2. While there are plenty of visual glitches and bugs running rampant in Warhorse Studios' critically acclaimed sequel, fans have made it clear that the game's annoying rain should be a top priority for the studio. Whether the player is indoors, outdoors, or deep inside of a cave, the rain, thunder, and lightning seem to always be present. Hopefully, a fix for the issue will be included in the new update next week.
