Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 excels in its sandbox, which seems to be an area that every great RPG needs to pay particular attention to. Gamers have the freedom to play however they'd like, and the onus is on the game to react accordingly. This can create some extremely unique scenarios for players, making it feel as though they've experienced something very few others have. Just recently, there was another Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 player who discovered a unique way to commit the perfect crime. It's this kind of thing that gives RPGs like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 a massive sense of replayability, especially for players who like to test the boundaries of what is possible.

10 Reasons Why Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Could Win Game Of The Year

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an early frontrunner to win Game of the Year in 2025. Here's what makes the game so great.

A Redditor online managed to reach Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's massive area of Kuttenberg, and decided to test something. It's well known that NPCs will pick up items and use them in the game, so this player dumped their entire inventory into the street, including "more than 200 sets of full armor." They claimed that local NPCs had taken everything in less than five minutes, but there's a catch to this. Before dropping their items, they poisoned their food. When the NPCs ate it, they all died the next day. With the player talking their way out of trouble, they were left with a version of Kuttenberg described by the player as "a ghost town."

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Player Wipes Out Kuttenberg With Poison

Knowing the sheer scale of Kuttenberg in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it would certainly make it a much lonelier place for the latter stages of the game. In fact, poisoning all the NPCs in Kuttenberg could make it much more challenging to progress. Merchants would be dead, leaving the player unable to buy and sell items. Not to mention all the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 side quests in Kuttenberg that would instantly fail. Wiping out towns in the game would make for an interesting experiment, but it isn't necessarily practical.

There will be plenty more Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for players to enjoy throughout 2025. Warhorse Studios has already confirmed three paid DLCs for this year, which will continue to expand on the game's story. Meanwhile, there's more free content to come, too. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Barber update is set to drop on March 13, allowing players to change Henry's hair and beard, just like the original game. Gamers should keep their eyes out for more content over the course of the year, too.
