Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is always full of surprises, with most quests having multiple endings, rare dialogue choices, and plenty of shocking moments. Dotted throughout the game, there are also a number of game overs that aren't related to Henry dying or failing a specific objective. At the end of the game, players will also get unique endings based on their playthrough and choices in the moment. However, around three-quarters of the way into the game, there is another secret ending involving King Sigismund...

How To Get The Secret Sigismund Early Ending In KCD2
King Sigismund of Hungary is arguably the main protagonist in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series, and the driving factor behind the conflict in the Bohemian lands in 1403. Henry and his friends are firmly against Sigismund, and therefore, his death would arguably solve many problems.
The King's Gambit Quest
In the King's Gambit quest, which follows on from Taking French Leave, Henry has to infiltrate the Kuttenberg council meeting to learn of King Sigismund's plans. To do so, he goes undercover as a servant.
When players are up to this part of the mission, they should continue serving wine as usual, trying not to stand out. However, there are two moments when Henry is beckoned over and asked for a favor. The first man to request help is Bailiff Andreas Plumel. He will ask Henry to fetch a confiscated goblet from his office, so make sure to say yes.
To find his office, go into the chapel next to where the wine pitchers are and then turn right and head up through a door. The chalice can be found on the table, but if players continue to the desk at the end, they will find a dagger hidden in a scroll of parchment.
To get the secret ending, make sure to equip the dagger!
If players missed this opportunity, Franz Rosenthal will later ask Henry to fetch his gloves, granting him a last chance. He will also ask Henry to count the angels in the chapel, and giving the correct answer of twenty-four can help Henry stay undetected.
If players don't get the dagger now, it will be too late after the next stage, as the door will be locked.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - Master Schindel's Toys Walkthrough
Here's a walkthrough leading players to Master Schindel's Toys in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
How To Kill King Sigismund
When King Sigismund arrives, there will be a cutscene, but then the story switches to Godwin's point of view at Raborsch. When Godwin's side of the quest is complete, players will regain control of Henry and can strike.
With the dagger equipped in the inventory, sneak behind King Sigismund and hold A/Cross on controller or E on Keyboard to stealth kill the king. Patch 1.3 even added a new special animation for this specific moment.
Players will receive the following message upon committing regicide:
THE END...You killed King Sigismund, although you died at his guard's hands shortly after. King Wenceslas soon returned to the Bohemian throne, Jan Hus was never burned at the stake, and the Hussite Wars never took place.
Therefore, Henry is essentially changing history, as the real King Sigismund only died decades later in 1437. Players will have to reload their most recent save, but this is a fun thing to try out.
