The developers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 have released Update 1.2.2 for the game, addressing several issues and implementing some platform-specific fixes. The highly-anticipated sequel has continued to find success since its early February release, and the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 dev team continues to roll out helpful fixes and additional content for the medieval RPG.
During its first month on sale in the US, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 managed to outsell its predecessor five times over, with the title selling over one million copies in its first day and two million copies in its first two weeks. The sequel has provided players with a much smoother experience when compared to the first game, which was applauded for its commitment to realism but criticized for its countless bugs at launch. In the weeks following Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's launch, the developers at Warhorse Studios have continued to roll out helpful patches to address pesky bugs and respond to player feedback, with the newest hotfix now live on all systems.

To raise money for charity, Warhorse Studios is auctioning a signed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Collector's Edition, which reaches a stunning price.
Hotfix 1.2.2 for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is now live, addressing some gameplay and UI issues while also providing some platform-specific fixes. The update fixes an issue in which some players would still be seen as trespassing in rented rooms after leaving the map and returning, along with a problem in the "Into the Underworld" quest where Goatskin would disappear when loading a save from a past version of the game. The New Game option has been removed from the in-game pause menu to prevent players from accidently overwriting their save. Additionally, PC players will no longer have to worry about breaking the main menu when closing the barber overlay with a mouse.
On March 13, Warhorse Studios released the first free content update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which introduced the barber feature, Hardcore mode, and horse racing to the action RPG. Update 1.2 also added dozens of fixes, rebalancing tweaks, and improvements, including refined combat mechanics, performance optimization, more realistic NPC behavior, and more. The "Brushes with Death" DLC will be released this summer, followed by "Legacy of the Forge" and "Mysteria Ecclesia" in fall and winter, respectively.
As they explore the Kingdom of Bohemia, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players continue to find Easter eggs, with one fan discovering an NPC inspired by Cyberpunk's Johnny Silverhand. Another player took to social media to share an image of the real-world Trosky Tower located in the Czech Republic, which was painstakingly recreated in-game.
