Many Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players are experiencing tons of annoying visual flickers after the game's recent 1.3 update. Although PC players might have a temporary fix for this issue, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players will seemingly be made to wait for a fix for this Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 glitch.
A few days ago, Warhorse released Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's 1.3 patch, which arrived alongside the game's first new DLC, titled Brushes with Death. While the expansion is paid, 1.3 came to all players with a bunch of minor improvements and fixes, as well as the addition of a Horse Racing minigame. As much as the patch fixed, it also seems to have made the game near-unplayable for some players.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Mod Solves One of the Game's Most Annoying Problems
A brand-new Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 mod fixes one of the most annoying problems that players have in the game.
As reported by The Gamer, various Reddit threads have reported that the latest Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 update has introduced frustrating visual flickers, causing items close to them to immediately phase in and out of existence at a moment's notice. Many in the thread expressed their disappointment at wanting to play through the new Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 DLC, only to prefer waiting for this particular bug to be fixed before doing so.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Visual Flickering is Annoying Players After 1.3 Update
There's good news for players on PC. In one of the threads complaining about the glitch, Redditor Duguesclin10 posted a Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 console command that many reported fixed the problem. PC players just need to open their in-game console and enter "e_DissolveUsePermanentRenderObjects=1" to resolve these visual flickers. As PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players can't use console commands, they'll have to wait for Warhorse Studios to issue an official fix.
Beyond Brushes with Death, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players still have much to look forward to for the rest of the year. Warhorse Studios will continue to support the game with free updates, while the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 roadmap released earlier this year shows there are still two paid expansions planned for 2025. It was already one of the best games of the year so far, so it'll be exciting to see it get even better.
