Kingdom fans are having a stellar 2025. Earlier this year, Viz Media announced that the Kingdom manga would finally be released in English. The first volume is set to be released on November 11, 2025. So fans who have waited for years will finally be able to purchase the Kingdom manga in English.

The Kingdom anime airing a month before the English release will be extremely beneficial to the overall sales. It has become common knowledge that lining up the manga's release with the anime can help boost sales. Recently, some manga series have poorly planned the release of their anime adaptations, and due to this reason, they have struggled to really help with the sales.

A recent example is Sakamoto Days. The anime was released five years after the manga's serialization. Usually, fans are more excited about an anime's debut when its release window is set within two years. To avoid such mistakes, newer manga series will likely try to release anime adaptations as early as possible. Of course, there are exceptions who have done well regardless of the anime's timing. But the overall consensus is that anime adaptations should be released quickly.
