Ichi the Witch is written by Osamu Nishi and illustrated by Shiro Usazaki. Both of them are experienced people in the field. Osamu Nishi had previously worked on Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, which was serialized in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion from March 2017 to October 2024. The manga has sold over 5 million copies, which is not a bad number at all. Shiro Usazaki has illustrated Act-Age, which is also a popular series in its own right. The title has sold more than 3 million copies, and that too without an anime adaptation.

Considering two excellent minds are working on the series, it is inevitable that Ichi the Witch will become a success. The story is still in the early stages, but if it maintains the rhythm, then fans are in for a treat. As previously stated, Horikoshi Kohei, the author of My Hero Academia, endorsed the series. This is a big compliment considering Horikoshi's manga has sold more than 100 million copies so far.

In a world where witches are mainly females, Ichi becomes an anomaly. This event changes Ichi's life, and it leads to the beginning of a brand-new adventure.
