To unlock Empowered Monoliths in Last Epoch, players must complete Normal versions of the following Monoliths of Fate: Spirits of Fire, The Last Ruin, and The Age of Winter. These monoliths are level 90 challenges, so you will need better gear and a good build to complete them. Additionally, you won't be able to reach these challenges very quickly. Once you reach the main island in The End of Time, slowly move along the monoliths until you reach the ones you need.
Once you've completed all three level 90 Monoliths of Fate, head to the small island between them and i nteract with the chest in the center. By completing these steps, you will permanently unlock Empowered Monoliths and be able to choose this difficulty option when choosing challenges.
