The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered has a variety of weapons for both Ellie and Abby. However, one of the best close-range weapons with high destructive power remains the pump-action shotgun. Players can get the shotgun quite early in the game, but it can be missable if they're not too keen on exploring the streets of Seattle. So, here's a complete guide to help you grab the pump-action shotgun in TLOU 2.
The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered: All Game Modes In No Return
No Return is a refreshing addition to The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, as players can enjoy various roguelike game modes against the infected.
Where to Find the Pump Shotgun in The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered
Players can find the pump-action Shotgun during the "Seattle Day 1" chapter in The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. The shotgun is located inside the Westlake Bank, which can be found in the southern part of the map (location in the image above). Players can also find a note, hinting at important supplies locked inside the bank, on a broken bridge.
As you head inside the dilapidated Westlake Bank, you'll spot a group of Clickers roaming inside the main hall. Now, you can either stealth kill all of these or simply sneak past them. You'll need to head over to the leftmost area of the bank to find the Safe Deposit Lockers room.
How to Open the Westlake Bank Vault/Safe
Once inside the Safe Deposit Lockers room, you'll find a note lying on the floor, showing the combination to the safe in the Westlake Bank of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. Dial the code "602306" into the vault, and it'll open up. There's a body of a deceased guard inside, and next to him, players will finally get the pump-action shotgun.
However, you're not out of the woods yet. Once you grab the shotgun and try to leave the bank, a new group of infected will rush into the main hall. So, now you can either fight your way out of the bank or simply try to take out as many as you can with stealth kills before booking it.
If you decide to upgrade the pump-action shotgun, here's a list of upgrades you can apply from any weapon workbench in TLOU 2.
