A lot of the events in Arc Raiders alter the map, bringing more opportunities for Raiders to gather higher rarity loot. These events require the players to visit multiple locations, press buttons, and loot key items. Because of this, there is a chance the Raiders will work together to complete the event faster and share the loot.

The Launch Tower Loot event is one of the shorter events, and the loot is substantial, especially if there are not many players looting the containers. Here is the complete event guide for Launch Tower Loot in Arc Raiders.

Updated January 11, 2026, by Waseem Muhammad: Despite running for only 2 hours every day, the event can give a player good loot, mainly if they are the only person looting the chests, which is highly unlikely in most cases. The guide below has been updated to include more information on how to deal with the waves of ARC that spawn upon pressing the button. A few tips and strategies have also been added on what players should do with the enemy raiders that might come up the zipline when hearing the blaring noise.

Launch Tower Loot Event Guide in Arc Raiders 1

The Launch Tower Loot event occurs twice a day at 11 PM PST/ 8 AM CET and 7 AM PST/ 4 PM CET. The event runs for an hour, so you will probably get time to do 2-3 runs depending on how long they take. To play this, start matchmaking on the Spaceport map with either a free loadout or go fully geared.

As there are a lot of ARC enemies and potentially other Raiders who will contest as well, it is best to bring a better loadout just to be on the safe side.

As soon as you spawn, make your way to the Launch Towers located in the center of the map. These are the tallest structures on the map, so you should be able to see them from almost anywhere. As you arrive at the towers, you can go inside, but you will find both doors on the side to be locked. There is a generator in the middle that requires a Fuel Cell to operate.

The location of the Fuel Cell is random but is always within the vicinity of the Launch Towers, so you will have to leave this room and look around. The Fuel Cell is a small, carryable item that will slow you down and stop you from sprinting. Because of this, you should be careful that there are no ground or flying ARCs nearby, or they will cause you problems.

Once you take the fuel cells back to the generator, simply interact to put them in, and there should be a lever on the side that you can pull.

The lever will activate the gates to open, allowing you to go up the ziplines on either side of the towers. As you reach the top area, be careful of the Pops and Fireballs up here, and once they have been dealt with, go further up to the roof.

There will be a few ARC enemies, so you can deal with them if you want, and go up the steps here to spot a locked container with a switch next to it. Activating the switch starts blaring a large noise, which attracts and spawns flying ARCs, even the Rocketeer.

Now players can deal with these ARC enemies, which is extremely difficult if you are playing solo and there are no Raiders around to help you. Alternatively, you can go down to the room where the Pops were located and wait out there after activating the switch. This will make most of the ARCs lose sight and fly away, giving you time to sneak up and loot everything. You can also throw down a smoke grenade to make the process of looting easier.

There is a locked container on both sides of the tower, so you can repeat the same process on the other side and extract at the nearby elevator with your hard-earned loot. Be careful of people spawning near the extraction points, because some players find it easy to knock down the Raiders who have already looted the tower instead of participating in the event themselves.

Tips for Completing the Launch Tower Loot Event

In the case that you are playing Solo and want the loot all for yourself, then you will need a proper loadout. For the Augment, you can take a Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking) because of the utility slots you will get and need to place the mines. Your loadout should ideally consist of:

  • Jolt Mines
  • Explosive Mines
  • Seeker Grenades
  • Wolfpacks
  • Barricades
  • A lot of heals.

Since Trigger Nades are quite overpowered right now, you can also bring a few of them for the enemy raiders.

As you load into the match, run straight towards the tower, and after putting in the fuse cell, go up the zipline. Now you only have time to set up around one entrance of the tower, meaning 2 ziplines can be covered. Place your Explosive and Jolt Mines near both of the ziplines. Place a barricade on top of the first staircase so players can't rush up and shoot you from behind. You can then use a second barricade on the roof of the tower, which will act as cover from the ARC when they spawn.

When you spot the Wasps and Hornets, take out your Seeker Grenades and start throwing them in the air so that most of these flying ARCs are dealt with. Two Wolfpack Grenades should be enough for the Rocketeers.

Bringing in a weapon like Renegade or Venator is the best, as these can deal with ARCs with ease and are also great weapons against any raider. Once you are done looting the first chest, you can then make your way to the other side and start the button on that side as well.

Keep in mind that since you have not put up any mines on the other side, there is a very high possibility that multiple raiders will come from that side and might even team up to fight you. You can place a few mines on the staircase on the other side before pressing the buttons if there isn’t anyone standing there; otherwise, get ready for a fight.

After retrieving the loot from both chests, your next challenge will be to extract. The issue is that some players opt out of the event but camp around the extract, waiting for players to come with all the loot. Some players might have also set up Jolt Mines at the bottom of the ziplines, so you will have to go down cautiously.

If you are planning on completing the event in Duos or Trios, then you can complete the mine setup much faster, giving you enough time to jump to the other chest and set traps on the other side.
