Summary

  • Fun & effective Bot Lane combos in League of Legends offer hilarious gameplay.
  • Champions paired skillfully provide synergy for unique strategies.
  • Combining abilities, CC, and ultimates can lead to exciting and successful Bot Lanes.

League of Legends was released well over a decade ago, and since then, Riot Games has done a good job of constantly updating Champions, items, and Summoner's Rift. The game certainly has its issues, whether it be overloaded Champions or in-game toxicity, but it is still played by millions of people. League of Legends requires a fair bit of strategy, but it is simple to understand, especially since every Champion has a designated role.

Bot Lane tends to have an ADC, who is usually a marksman capable of dealing a lot of physical or true damage in the later stages of a game. The ADC is always paired with a Support, who typically helps the team by tanking damage, or by providing healing, shielding, or crowd control. Most games feature traditional Bot Lanes, but there are a few unorthodox, funny Bot Lane combos that can be quite effective.

Updated on November 27th, 2025, by Joe Grantham: If there's one constant regarding League of Legends, it's the fact that it never stops changing. Every two weeks, patches shake things up, and even the smallest of changes can open the door for new innovations. Therefore, there will always be new hilarious combos to try out for better or worse. The most fun Bot Lane combos in League typically rely on two abilities working in tandem in a way that the enemy just isn't ready for. While these funny Bot Lane duos might not always be suited for climbing the ranked ladder, they are perfect for having a laugh with friends in casual games.

Xin Zhao & Zaahen

Play Two Champions Who Are Almost One And The Same In The Lore

League of Legends - Xin Zhao & Zaahen

In the lore, Xin Zhao became a temporary human host for League's newest Darkin and Top Laner, Zaahen, in order for him to defeat Atakhan. Wielding Xin Zhao's spear, they also have similar abilities, such as both knocking up via autos with their Qs and thrusting the spear with their Ws.

Combining these abilities together can therefore be highly satisfying to use against unsuspecting Bot Laners, and if the pair sheds enough blood, Atakhan will spawn on their side of the map, setting up for an epic lore showdown. They both also have plenty of sustain, allowing them to dive deep in fights and brawl it out together.

Singed & Zilean

Make Singed Run Even Faster & With A Bomb Attached

League of Legends - Singed & Zilean

Singed can be one of the most annoying champions in League to face, as he runs around poisoning everyone while flipping them and laughing. However, paired with Zilean, he becomes an even greater terror. Zilean can turn the already fast Singed into an unstoppable psychopath with ludicrous movement speed, while also attaching bombs to Singed.

Singed then runs in, spreads his poison, and delivers Zilean's time bombs to the enemy back line before they have time to react. If the Singed wants to build more damage with the consequence of being squishy, he can do so with the peace of mind that he has Zilean's ult to revive him.

Nocturne & Fiddlesticks

The Fear Lane

League of Legends - Nocturne & Fiddlesticks

Nocturne and Fiddlesticks are all about fear, and both use the actual Fear CC mechanic, making for a spooky yet successful combo. First of all, Nocturne almost doubles his movement speed when facing Feared targets, so Fiddlesticks can set him up, making it easier to land Nocturne's own Fear.

The best part, however, is combining their ults. Nocturne turns the lights out with his ult, allowing Fiddlesticks to channel his ult in the darkness, before jumping in at the same time as Nocturne to fear everyone. While they may struggle in some lanes, it is certainly one of the most fun combos to pull out, especially at Halloween each year.

Garen & Yuumi

A Duo Picked At Worlds 2019

League of Legends - Garen & Yuumi

Fans of professional League of Legends may remember Fnatic pulling out the Garen and Yuumi combo at Worlds 2019, and it has been picked at other times, too. Yuumi essentially makes Garen an unstoppable beast, with movement speed boosts, healing and shielding, and most importantly, slows from Yuumi's Q to hunt enemies down.

Although the early laning phase can be rough against two ranged champions, Garen will eventually become unkillable, which means Yuumi gets to stay on him permanently, never being attacked herself. They are also a strong duo to play in League's Arena mode.

Taric & Wukong

Wukong Can Go Invisible & Set Up Taric's Stun

League of Legends - Taric & Wukong

Despite being a Jungler and Top Laner by design, Wukong is no stranger to the Bot Lane, having been played alongside Senna in previous seasons. However, he can also work well with Taric, who similarly sustains him with heals, and yet is also the perfect dive partner.

The best part of this combo is Taric's E, which is a stun fired from himself, but also from his bound partner, Wukong. Unlike other partners, Wukong can go momentarily invisible, leaving behind a clone for confusion, while he goes in with a dash and Taric's stun. This combo becomes even more deadly when Wukong can follow this up with his ult, while Taric's ult makes them both invulnerable while diving.

Cho'Gath & Tahm Kench

Two Tanky Boys Who Can Eat Their Enemies

League of Legends - Cho'Gath & Tahm Kench

Cho'Gath and Tahm Kench have similar playstyles; they are both tanky, with ranged CC, and most importantly, they can both eat champions. In the Bot Lane, together, they are extremely difficult to kill, and once one of them hits a single CC ability, the rest can be chained on.

In terms of who farms and who plays support, Cho'Gath has an easier time farming at range, and is arguably more reliant on tank items than Tahm, who was designed as a Support. Best of all, however, is when these tanky boys hit level 6. Tahm can apply stacks on an enemy, gobble them up to deal lots of damage, and then spit them out for Cho to feast on with his execute.

Katarina & Rakan

They Can Both Jump To One Another And Go In

League of Legends - Katarina & Rakan

Katarina is an assassin designed for multikills, and where better to fight more opponents than Bot Lane. When playing for fun, Katarina can be part of kill lanes in Bot, but she needs an engage support to go in first. Rakan is perfect for her, with his AoE Crowd Control, but the pair have even better synergy thanks to their Es, which allow them to jump to one another.

For example, Katarina could play forward, allowing Rakan to jump to her. He then uses his W to go in and knock up the enemies, before Kat uses her own E to jump to Rakan. This combo gets even more deadly post level 6, with Rakan charming the enemies while Katarina's AoE ult shreds them. They can also use their jumps to one another defensively to slip away.

Yasuo & Malphite

The Best Level 6 Combo With Ults

League of Legends Yasuo & Malphite

In terms of combos at level 6, few are as sudden and deadly as Yasuo and Malphite. After surviving what can be a rough start to the lane, Malphite will ideally hit both opponents with his ult, which Yasuo can immediately follow up with his own. While there are other AOE knockups in the game, such as Rakan's, none are as fast as Malphite's, making him Yasuo's best friend.

If Malphite builds AP even as a support, this combo becomes even more deadly and will remain great throughout the game beyond the landing phase. While Malphite is easy, the other player will need plenty of skill, given that Yasuo is one of the hardest League champs to master.

Morgana & Lux

The Binding Sisters - Never Ending CC

League of Legends Morgana & Lux

Morgana and Lux are a fun bot lane duo as old as time in League of Legends. They are often known as the binding sisters because each of them has a similar binding ability on their Qs. If one of them hits, the other can follow up with chain CC, while both place their AOE abilities down - Morgan's W and Lux's E.

After reaching level 6, Lux can fire off an easy ult and Morgana can chain even more CC if necessary. They both deal their damage from range and with Morgana's Blackshield and Lux's regular shield, they also have some protection. This is an extremely annoying lane to play against for any who get caught in their bindings.

Shaco & Neeko

Annoy & Decieve The Enemy With Clones & Trickery

League of Legends Shaco & Neeko

Shaco is widely regarded as one of the most annoying champions to face in League, thanks to his trickery. However, paired with Neeko, things can get even more confusing for the enemy. Since her update, Neeko is now able to turn into almost anything, from minions to blast cones, and of course, another Shaco to add to the mix.

Paired with the real Shaco going invisible and using his clone, the chaos can get wild. With all this going on and Shaco's boxes providing extra CC, it isn't hard for Neeko to find a surprise ult that should result in a kill. With all the possible plays and deceptions, this is a Bot Lane duo with some of the biggest potential for fun over dozens of games.
