Over the past decade, very few games have achieved the level of global success that League of Legends has. Millions of players play on Summoner's Rift every day, and each game is unique because there are now more than 160 Champions, who each have a designated role. These Champions hail from different regions of Runterra, but there is one race that is both cute and deadly.

Yordles are spirits who look like tiny bipedal mammals, and the majority of them live in Bandle City. No one really knows where Bandle City is located, but a few Yordles have made their way into other regions. Heimerdinger is a prominent figure in Piltover, while Kled is a warrior of Noxus. Each Yordle Champion is effective in League of Legends, but some are better than others.

10 Teemo: The Swift Scout

Teemo may be cute, but he has been one of the most hated Champions in LoL for over a decade. The hatred stems from his kit, which is fun to use, but it can be infuriating to play against, and if someone builds attack speed Teemo, they can shred an enemy Champion's health.

His Q shoots a dart which blinds his enemy and makes them unable to basic attack, while his E causes all of his attacks to poison his target for 4 seconds. His ultimate allows him to place mushrooms on the ground, which turn invisible, If someone steps on them, they are slowed and poisoned.

9 Kennen: The Heart Of The Tempest

Kennen Throwing An Electrified Kunai

Kennen has a surprisingly low pick rate, but he deserves a lot more attention because he is an effective Top Laner. Most Top Laners are bruisers and juggernauts, and Kennen is by no means a Tank, but he makes up for it with damage and initiation potential.

Kennen's entire kit revolves around his Mark of the Storm passive, which stuns enemies that he hits three times. His Ultimate is extremely useful during team fights, as he summons a storm that deals magic damage to all nearby Champions, and he can stun them.

8 Ziggs: The Hexplosives Expert

Ziggs Tossing One Of His Bombs

Ziggs is insane, but he can be very effective in Mid and Bot Lane because of his damage output and push power. His Q throws a bomb that damages whatever it hits, while his E tosses proximity mines on the ground that damage and slow anyone who steps on them.

His W throws an explosive charge on the ground that knocks anyone away when it detonates. Ziggs can use this as an escape method. It can also instantly destroy towers that have low health. His Ultimate throws a massive bomb which deals more damage to those caught in the center.

7 Fizz: The Tidal Trickster

Fizz With His Signature Trident & Shark

Fizz may look like a fish, but he is actually an aquatic Yordle, and he happens to be an assassin. His Q allows him to dash up to an enemy, and he can then use his W to apply a bleed onto his opponent. His attacks then deal extra magic damage.

His E allows him to become untargetable while hopping into the air. This is great for evading CC and for escaping. His Ultimate fires a fish toward an enemy, and if it hits, a shark will erupt from the ground and deal damage while also slowing the target.

Gnar Playing In The Jungle After Going Mega
Gnar in His Peaceful Form After A Battle

Gnar is a prehistoric Yordle, and when he gains enough rage, he transforms into Mega Gnar. Little Gnar throws a boomerang, and he can gain bonus damage and movement speed. He can also leap in any direction and bounce off an enemy's head.

Mega Gnar throws a boulder and he can stun enemies. Instead of bouncing, he leaps and deals damage to those around him. His Ultimate allows him to t hrow everything in a chosen direction, slowing enemies. If they get thrown into a wall, they get stunned and take extra damage.

5 Poppy: Keeper Of The Hammer

Poppy is the tankiest Yordle in LoL, and she is not difficult to play. Her W grants her bonus armor, magic resist, and movement speed, but it also stops enemies from dashing around her. If she stops an enemy dash, the enemy is slowed and grounded.

Her E is a dash that pushes her opponent, and if they get pushed into a wall, they get stunned. She can then use her Q to whack them with her hammer. Her Ultimate is great for saving teammates because she slams her hammer on the ground and knocks enemies far away.

4 Vex: The Gloomist

Many of the newer Champions have been incredibly overpowered at launch, but Vex was fairly balanced, and she still is. Thanks to her passive, she gradually becomes empowered, and when she does, her next spell will fear an enemy.

Her kit is straightforward, and it can deal a lot of burst damage. Her Q fires a missile that accelerates mid-fire, while her W creates a shield that damages nearby foes. Her E creates a zone that damages and slows, and her Ultimate fires a missile. If it hits, she can dash toward the enemy, and if she gets a kill, it refreshes.

3 Lulu: The Fae Sorceress

Lulu is a spellcaster, and she happens to be one of the best Supports in League. Her passive gives her a pixie follower who fires magical bolts whenever a Champion he is attached to attacks an enemy. Her Q fires magic shots which deal damage and slow.

If she uses her W on allies, they gain attack and movement speed, but when it is used on an enemy, they get turned into a little animal that cannot attack. Her E allows her to place her pixie on an ally. Her Ultimate is very useful because it saves herself or an ally through enlargement, which provides bonus health and slows nearby enemies.

2 Veigar: The Tiny Master Of Evil

Veigar Casting A Spell With Dark Magic

Veigar has mastered dark sorcery, and he is one of the only Champions who can endlessly scale. This is all thanks to his passive, which permanently increases his ability power each time he hits an enemy Champion with a spell.

His kit is incredibly easy, to the point that even beginners can play him well. His E creates a cage, and enemies who touch the edges get stunned. He can then use his Q to shoot dark magic in a straight line, or he can use his W to call dark magic down from the sky. His Ult is a lock-on that fires a massive blast that deals more damage to enemies with low health.

1 Tristana: The Yordle Gunner

Tristana is the most effective Yordle ADC, and if she gets fed, she can singlehandedly win the game by shredding enemy Champions and towers. As she levels, her attack range increases, which is great because her Q allows her to shoot rapidly with extra attack speed.

Her W propels her in a specific direction, and when she lands, she deals damage and slows nearby enemies. She can place a bomb on an enemy with her E, and it will deal damage after a short duration. It becomes more powerful if she hits the target prior to detonation. Her Ult damages and knocks an opponent backward.
