  • Tears of the Kingdom allows players to combine Zonai devices to build powerful weapons and vehicles, enhancing their combat abilities.
  • One Reddit user recreated a Patriot air defense system, which has a canon mode that fires multiple bombs.
  • The main component of the Patriot air defense system is the Zonai battery, which provides other devices with temporary power.

One The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player combined several Zonai devices to build the Patriot air defense system. Tears of the Kingdom's Hyrule hosts a diverse range of creatures that drop equipment after being killed in their lairs. In addition to returning enemies like Bokoblins and Lynels, the game pits players against new monsters, such as Gloom Hands that lurk in The Depths.

Tears of the Kingdom takes place in an interactive world, which allows players to make vehicles to explore beautiful locations and strike down deadly foes to upgrade their items. The map of Hyrule is similar to the version in Breath of the Wild, but there are some additions, like the Sky Islands and the Depths, where players encounter the newly-introduced Flux Constructs and the Giant Frox. These colossal bosses have unique movements and attack patterns that can be difficult to read in intense combat. However, players can take advantage of Tears of the Kingdom's Zonai devices to construct lethal weapons for use in difficult situations.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Player Builds Divine Beast Vah Naboris

One talented fan returns the Gerudo Desert Divine Beast, Vah Naboris, to the world of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

A Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player known as Ultrababouin on Reddit showed their recreation of the Patriot air defense system, which has a canon mode that fires multiple bombs. The player put a Zonai battery on top of a stake to give temporary power to the weapon that consists of two giant cannons. When they shoot the Zonai stake with an arrow, the hover stone activates and spots flying targets immediately. This destructive weapon not only stays in the air for a while to strike down all surrounding enemies but also serves on the ground thanks to its cannon mode.

The main component of the Patriot air defense system is the Zonai battery, which provides other devices with temporary power. Players who want to build this conventional weapon will spend a lot of Zonaite on Tears of the Kingdom's device dispensers, as they will obtain cannons, rockets, hover stones, and stakes. As seen in the video, it's a viable option for killing all kinds of flying enemies, including Aerocudas and three-headed dragons.

Since the game's launch, a handful of lethal weapons have been recreated within Tears of the Kingdom. Some players built remote-controlled drones to blow up enemies from a distance, while others crafted naval sea mines to cause massive destruction in Hyrule. With such a diverse range of Zonai tools, it's no wonder they will make more weapons in the future.
