Some of the mechanics in Breath of the Wild are incredibly fun to play around with, particularly the Stasis ability. Though Stasis doesn't make a return in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the game does introduce several equally enjoyable mechanics that play around with physics, including an ability that allows players to rewind the momentum of certain objects.
Players learn the Recall ability during the opening stages of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and will need to use it at various points throughout the game in order to make progress with the main story. It also comes in pretty useful during many of the game's shrines, including the Ekochiu Shrine northeast of Lookout Landing.
Ekochiu Shrine Location
Players can find the Ekochiu Shrine in the Great Hyrule Forest area northwest of the Pico Pond. Though it is accessible from the area surrounding Lookout Landing, it can be more easily reached via the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower, with players simply needing to launch themselves from the top of the tower and then glide due west for around sixty seconds or so. The coordinates for the Ekochiu Shrine are 1063, 1283, 0045.
Ekochiu Shrine Walkthrough
In order to complete the Ekochiu Shrine, players will need to make use of Link's Recall ability. In the first part of the shrine, this means stepping onto the glowing floor tile to make the white block travel over to the far side of the room and then waiting for it to come back. As soon as it does, players should quickly climb on top of the block and then use the Recall ability on it. This will rewind its momentum, carrying players across to the next part of the shrine.
In the next room, it's very much more of the same. As soon as the block drops down from above, players will need to climb on top of it and then use Recall on it to reverse its momentum. Once they're up at the top, rather than moving on to the next area, players should turn around and use Link's Paraglider to glide over to the chest on the nearby ledge. Inside, they'll find a
Zonaite Shield, which lowers the energy consumption of any attached Zonai device.
After collecting the shield, players can make their way through to the next area. Here, they'll want to use Link's Ultrahand ability to move the nearby block onto the launcher dead ahead of them and then climb back up the ladder and step on the floor tile to launch the block high up into the air. Once it lands, players should quickly climb on top of it and then use the Recall ability. When it reaches its highest point, players can jump off and glide their way over to the statue, where they can claim yet another Light of Blessing and complete the Ekochiu Shrine.
