Gathering items is a huge part of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but wandering aimlessly around Hyrule in search of materials can be a huge pain if you just want to explore and complete quests. Thankfully, a new duplication glitch has been discovered for Tears of the Kingdom that works on version 1.4.1 of the game, and you can even do this glitch on the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of the game.
This duplication glitch is a bit more involved than the previous one that Tears of the Kingdom players may be used to, but it's still pretty easy to do once you get the hang of things. All you need is a food item, a bow, and a handful of items that you want to duplicate. Here's how to duplicate any item in version 1.4.1 of Tears of the Kingdom on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

How to Do the Tears of the Kingdom Duplication Glitch (1.4.1)
This duplication glitch requires a bow, a single food item, and at least four copies of the item you want to duplicate. To prepare for this glitch, find a food material like an apple and ensure you only have one of it in your inventory. If you have too many, either eat or drop the rest. Then, sort your inventory by type. This glitch only works if the targeted item is below the food item in your inventory, and sorting by type puts ingredients at the top of the list.
The first step of the Tears of the Kingdom dupe glitch is to equip a bow and then fuse the desired duplication item to it. Once the item is fused to your bow, pause the game and eat the single food item you prepared. Then, remove your bow and unpause the game.
Make sure you're using a food item from the materials page of your inventory, not a fully cooked dish.
Next, perform a shield surf and pause the game while you're still in the air. If everything is working correctly, you'll see that the food item you ate has been replaced by the item you're trying to duplicate. Hold that item and then scroll down in your inventory to find the original stack of items you wanted to duplicate. Hold four items from that stack so you have a full stack of five items in your hands. Don't unpause the game just yet, though.
To finish things off, open the map while the items are in your hands. From the map screen, unpause the game. Link should drop all five of the items on the floor. Collect all of them and check your inventory. If you did everything correctly, you should have five additional copies of your targeted item. You can repeat this duplication glitch as often as you like, but remember that you need at least four of the item you want to duplicate in order for the exploit to work. You may have to farm rare materials and other items before you can start duplicating them.
