The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is the newest addition to the Zelda franchise, and the first to feature Zelda herself in the role of playable protagonist. Created by Nintendo and Grezzo, Echoes of Wisdom features the "classic" Zelda format, and is visually similar to Grezzo's previous entry into the franchise, the Link's Awakening remake. With Zelda front and center, Echoes of Wisdom makes several interesting changes to the formula, most notably to combat. However, at its core, this still remains a classic Zelda experience, one that bridges the gap between the "modern" and "classic" eras remarkably well.
