While the Fast Travel update has been available for some time, the arrival of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 introduced the Battle Bus Quests. These quests provide players with a substantial amount of XP in LEGO Fortnite, as well as a free Decor Bundle upon completion. Though the Battle Bus Quests can only be completed in Survival, Cozy, and Expert modes, they shouldn't take too long to finish. Here is how to complete every Battle Bus Quest, along with the rewards they yield.

Updated on September 23, 2024, by Nathan Round: This guide has been updated to include additional details on completing each Battle Bus Quest, as well as how to acquire Rift Shards following the Lost Isles update.

How to Interact With a Battle Bus Station in LEGO Fortnite

This first quest is relatively straightforward, but players will need to locate a Battle Bus Station first. Battle Bus Stations spawn randomly throughout the world of LEGO Fortnite. However, one will always be near the world spawn point and can be easily identified by the blue light it emits.

Once players have found a Bus Station, they simply need to approach it and press the Use button (F/X/Square). Completing this action will finish the first quest.

How to Take a Battle Bus to Any Special Stop in LEGO Fortnite

While players may try to complete this quest by fast traveling to the nearest Battle Bus Station, this method doesn't seem to qualify. Instead, players must fast-travel to either the Rebel Outpost or the Lost Isles Battle Bus Stations. To fast travel to either location, follow these steps:

  1. Interact with a Battle Bus Station.
  2. Select either "Rebel Outpost" or "Lost Isles" along with "Choose Destination."
  3. Select "Confirm and Board."

Once selected, players will need to wait 15 seconds before being transported to their chosen location via the Battle Bus. Completing this process will finish the quest.

How to Travel 300 Meters After Exiting the Battle Bus in LEGO Fortnite

This next quest can easily be completed alongside the previous one. Players can simply fast-travel to any available Battle Bus Station to complete it. Once they are on the Battle Bus, they have to press the Jump button (Space/A/X) to exit. Diving to the ground will automatically complete the quest, as the distance traveled exceeds 300 meters.

Cords are vital for crafting ranged weapons and the Explorer's Machete in LEGO Fortnite, and here's exactly how to get them.

How to Jump Out of a Battle Bus and Land in a Lake in LEGO Fortnite

Much like the previous quest, this one can also be completed alongside it. To complete it, players can simply fast-travel to any available Battle Bus Station. Once they are on the Battle Bus, they can jump and dive straight into a lake below.

How to Board the Battle Bus Within 60 Seconds of Landing From a Battle Bus in LEGO Fortnite

To complete this next quest, players will need to fast-travel to a Battle Bus Station, and then fast-travel again within 60 seconds of landing from the Battle Bus.

The easiest method is to fast-travel to any Bus Stop, and then dive straight down to that same stop, before using it to fast-travel a second time.

How to Build a Battle Bus Station in LEGO Fortnite

Building a Battle Bus Station requires some high-level materials, most of which players may not be able to acquire until they have progressed into the Frostlands biome. A Battle Bus Station can be built via the Build Menu with the following materials:

  • 4 Iron Bars: crafted in a Metal Smelter with Iron
  • 2 Malachite Slabs: crafted at the Stone Breaker with Malachite
  • 6 Frostpines: acquired by harvesting Frostpine Trees with an Epic Axe
  • 3 Rift Shards: dropped from Golems in the Lost Isles

Alternatively, players can simply acquire all the materials they need by destroying an existing Bus Station with an Epic Pickaxe.
