LEGO Fortnite is an ever-expanding saga featuring multiple modes and experiences, each offering its own unique twist. While LEGO Fortnite originally launched as a survival crafting game with LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, it has since grown to include LEGO Fortnite: Brick Life and a variety of vibrant LEGO Creative Islands.

But that’s not all—LEGO Fortnite Expeditions also joins the adventure in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, bringing the season’s bold hero theme into the world of LEGO. While this mode may have seemed to come out of nowhere, it’s definitely a fun and refreshing experience worth checking out. So, what exactly is LEGO Fortnite Expeditions? What Is LEGO Fortnite Expeditions?

LEGO Fortnite Expeditions is a co-operative PvE experience that supports squads of up to four players. In this mode, players dive into a series of hero-themed missions. Upon loading in, they’ll arrive at the Supernova Academy, where they can explore the campus, interact with faculty and staff, and take on Academy Assignments—this mode’s version of Found Quests.

As part of the Academy, players can also choose from three Hero Classes in the Hero Class Terminal: Shadow Caller, The Hunter, and Rift Ripper. Each class comes with its own unique set of powerful abilities to aid players in missions. Once ready, players can head to the Mission Terminal to either select a mission manually or jump into the action via quickplay.

Missions throw players into intense PvE combat, tasking them with defeating waves of enemies and completing mission-specific objectives. As they progress, players earn Hero XP for their chosen class and gain Skill Points to upgrade their abilities. Additionally, they’ll collect Essence, which can be exchanged at the Supernova Academy for powerful upgrades for weapons like Dual Daggers, War Hammers, Plasma Pistols, and more.
