How to Gather Essence in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions

Players coming over from LEGO Fortnite Odyssey may already be familiar with the concept of Essence. In LEGO Fortnite Expeditions, Essence is a valuable resource often dropped by defeated enemies. The amount of Essence dropped varies based on the enemy type. Basic foes like Demon Guards drop smaller amounts, while tougher enemies such as Titans and Spires yield significantly more.

To farm Essence efficiently, simply jump into any mission and start eliminating enemies. This method allows players to quickly rack up large amounts of Essence. Players can hold up to 10,000 Essence in their inventory at a time, giving them plenty of room to farm. Additionally, upon collecting a total of 1,000 Essence for the first time, players will complete the “Gather Essence" In-Spired quest, earning 30,000 XP as a reward.

How to Trade Essence for Items at a Vendor in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions

Once players have collected a sufficient amount of Essence, they can return to the Supernova Academy after completing their mission. In the eastern training area of the academy, near Killswitch, players will find two Weapon Vendors to trade their Essence with. Each Vendor offers the same selection of items, though the tier of each item is randomized when making a purchase.

Despite this, the Vendors provide a reliable way to gear up with powerful items for the next mission. Here’s a quick breakdown of the items each Vendor offers:
