In Lego Fortnite, there are a few different types of wood that you can pick up. This includes regular Wood, Knotroot, Flexwood, and Frostpine. As you go down the line, each wood type becomes increasingly more difficult to obtain, with Frostpine being the hardest of the group.

Though Frostpine is relatively easy to find within the Frostlands Biome, it isn't a simple grab by just using a common axe. Instead, you'll need to use some upgraded tools to chop down some trees to get your Frostpine. If you're stuck on what to do, here's where you can find the item and obtain it.

How to Get Frostpine in Lego Fortnite

Within the world of Lego Fortnite, you can find Frostpine specifically within the Frostlands Biomes only. They essentially look like pine trees and can be found on the outskirts of the Frostlands with no snow on the leaves, as well as deep within the Frostlands.

However, you might notice when you approach the trees you won't be able to break them with any regular Forest Axe. Instead, you're going to need to upgrade specifically to the Epic Forest Axe, which will require these ingredients to create:

3x Copper Bar
3x Knotroot Rod

You can obtain Copper by checking out our guide here. It can be found within Lava Caves in Dry Valley Biomes. You can also use this guide to find Knotroot, which can be found in any cave in the Grasslands. To unlock the recipe for the Epic Forest Axe, you'll also need to make sure to upgrade your Crafting Bench to the Epic level. This will require:

15x Copper Bar
25x Obsidian Slab
1x Brute Scale

How to Use Frostpine in Lego Fortnite

Once you have some Frostpine in your inventory, you can use this item to create a lot of different things. Specifically, you'll often use it in its Frostpine Rod form, which you can create using a Lumber Mill. All the items you can create include:

Epic Pickaxe
All Shogun Palace Builds
Ancient Shelves
Palatial Shelves
Taiko Drum
Ancient Gong

Basically, most but not all the items that come with the Shogun Palace build will require some Frostpine. The Epic Pickaxe will also require 5 Frostpine Rods and 8 Obsidian Slabs, and it is incredibly important to break open higher-level rocks in the game.
