How to Get a Glider in LEGO Fortnite
Before they can craft a Glider, players need to have a Spinning Wheel, a Loom, and an upgraded Crafting Bench in their base. The crafting recipe for Glider is unlocked once players upgrade their Crafting Bench to the Rare tier. To do so, players require the following materials:
- Three Sand Shells
- Six Sand Claws
- 12 Knotroot Rods
- 15 Marble slabs
Once the bench is upgraded, players can interact with it and navigate to the Tools tab to find the recipe for a Glider. The following items are required to craft a Glider:
- Four Wool Fabric
- Six Silk Fabric
- Eight Flexwood Rods
Players can obtain Silk by killing spiders found in the Grassland biome, whereas Wool can be obtained by petting sheep roaming around the plains. Silk and Wool need to be processed into Silk and Wool Threads, respectively, using a Spinning Wheel. Once that’s done, these Threads can be put inside a Loom to create Silk and Wool Fabrics. Flexwood Rods can be prepared similarly by processing Flexwood in a Lumber Mill. After they’ve gathered all the necessary materials, players can craft a Glider easily.
How to Use a Glider in LEGO Fortnite
Gliders make it so much easier to travel between different biomes. The only drawback is that they use up the player’s Stamina, so players need to keep this in mind if they’re planning to float for longer durations.
Once they’ve crafted a Glider, players can simply equip it in the Inventory’s Utility slot. To activate it, players need to find high ground and jump off of the edge. As soon as they’re in mid-air, players need to jump again to open up the Glider and float effortlessly.
Players can turn off Stamina from the Settings if they wish to glide freely.
