Collecting resources is the name of the game in Lego Fortnite. As players traverse through new regions and biomes, they'll need to pick up every item they find in order to build up their village and bring in more visitors.

For those who are looking to get started on their own farm in the game, they'll need to pick up fertilizer to ensure their crops grow consistently. Fertilizer can be obtained in a few different ways, and luckily, each method takes only a few minutes' time. Here's how players can easily pick up this necessary item.

Where To Find Fertilizer In Lego Fortnite

As players begin their journey in Lego Fortnite, they'll be surrounded by expansive grasslands, caves, deserts, and much more. No matter where players start their adventure, there are bound to be some animals nearby. Make sure to watch out for the powerful wolves, though.

Since each gamer's map will be completely different from others, there is no exact location that can be provided to find animals. However, animals are usually grouped together in herds, so there will often be multiple cows, sheep, or chickens together. Take a trip into the open grasslands nearby, and there's bound to be some animals eventually.

How To Get Fertilizer In Lego Fortnite

Once players have found a few animals, they'll need to find a way to get them to create fertilizer. Essentially, fertilizer is, well...their droppings. The easiest way to get them to create this is to wait around until they release some. It usually doesn't take too long, especially if they're already eating something.

For those who'd rather not wait and want to focus on building, there's a way to speed up the process. Players can feed the animal some food. This will make it easier for them to produce the fertilizer that players can use for their farm. To feed them, here's the process to follow:

  • Stand near the animal being fed.
  • Open up the backpack, and click on any food item.
  • Select 'Drop,' and then walk away. The animal will then eat the food and create fertilizer.

Keep in mind that each animal is different in what food they prefer. Always have some raspberries, pumpkins, and corn on-hand, and they will most likely eat one of them.
