This epic game mode in Fortnite also gives players the freedom to build their own villagers from scratch and invite NPCs to live with them. There are 39 NPCs with unique characteristics and traits. Players can recruit up to five villagers and assign them jobs suited to their abilities.

However, some of these villagers are better than the rest, and players often find themselves in a situation where they need to pick one or the other. In such a scenario, players have to remove an existing villager from their village in LEGO Fortnite.

How to Remove Villagers From Your Village

Even though it feels quite rude, there’s no other choice besides kicking out a villager to make room for someone better. Whatever the reason, there is only one way for players to remove someone from their village – by destroying their assigned bed. NPCs only stay in a village if they have an assigned bed, so destroying the bed will work each time.

Here are the exact steps to remove a villager in LEGO Fortnite.

Go to the location containing the target villager’s bed.
Keep hitting the bed till it breaks. This usually takes around 3 to 4 hits.
Once the bed is destroyed, go and speak to the villager. They will inform you that they have no bed and will be leaving in a set number of days.
Wait for five days, and the villager will eventually leave. You will have a new villager slot available.

To ensure that they are destroying the right bed, players can approach the bed and hover over it to view the owner’s name.

If you have a change of heart and no longer want to remove the villager, simply craft a new bed and assign it to them within these five days. Beds can be crafted through the Build Menu, which can be accessed by pressing the Q key on the keyboard.

Alternatively, if players want to move their favorite villager to a new spot, they can simply reassign their bed instead of going through the process of removing it. This can be done by interacting with an unassigned bed and allocating it to the NPC.
