While some of these challenges are relatively straightforward, others will task players with completing puzzles — Rift Shrine Puzzles, to be exact. Here’s how to complete a Rift Shrine Puzzle in LEGO Fortnite.
How To Complete a Rift Shrine Puzzle in LEGO Fortnite
To complete a Rift Shrine Puzzle as part of the Magic or Science questline, players simply need to deposit the required resources into any Rift Shrine they come across on the Lost Isles. Doing so rewards them with 400 Studs, bringing them a step closer to leveling up the Tropical Treasures Pass and earning rewards like the Crusty Counter Bundle. While Rift Shrines are fairly abundant across the Lost Isles, they still require a bit of searching to locate.
Where To Find a Rift Shrine in LEGO Fortnite
Rift Shrines can be found in almost any biome of the Lost Isles, ranging from the Jungle to the Floating Islands. While players may come across Rift Shrines randomly, each can also be discovered by following a Rift Butterfly, which leads players to an undiscovered Rift Shrine.
Unfortunately, Rift Shrines won’t appear on the map once found, so players can mark their location with a Map Marker if they have trouble retracing their steps to one they’ve already discovered.
There are two types of Rift Shrines in LEGO Fortnite, both of which function similarly. The first type can simply be encountered on its own and will require players to deposit a common resource into the Rift Shrine, such as Red Rock, Roasted Tomatoes, and more. Once the required resources are deposited, the Shrine will spawn in a golden Chest.
The second type of Rift Shrine can be found near Beast Dens, which will remain inaccessible unless players deposit the corresponding resource into the Rift Shrine next to it — typically Rough Emerald farmed from the Floating Island biome. After depositing the necessary resources, the Beast's Den will open, allowing players to venture inside and face a powerful Storm-Wild Golem.
