LEGO Fortnite's Rift Shrine Puzzles can cause quite a headache if players don't know how to solve them, but luckily they've come to the right place.

Split-screen in Fortnite has been a feature for a while now, but the feature has been absent from its other modes until now. With the v31.40 Fortnitemares update, console players can now play LEGO Fortnite split-screen with their friends and family. Much like Battle Royale, split-screen for LEGO Fortnite is fairly simple to set up, and once players do so, they can get right into the action from the start. Here is how to play LEGO Fortnite in split-screen mode on consoles.

How To Play LEGO Fortnite Split Screen

Split Screen for LEGO Fortnite is currently supported on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One consoles. To play split screen, players will need access to a second controller for their respective consoles. Once players have connected a second controller, they will need to follow these steps:

  1. Select the account that the second player would like to play on (or sign-in to a second account if prompted to do so).
  2. Once players have connected their account, they will be prompted to link it to their Epic Account. Doing so will allow them to access their locker and quests.
  3. After logging in and linking to their Epic Account, the second player should appear in the LEGO Fortnite main lobby.
  4. Finally, players can load into any world in LEGO Fortnite, and they will automatically be able to play in split-screen mode.

Players using LEGO Fortnite’s split-screen mode will be able to make progress toward their quests, level up in real-time, and advance throughout their LEGO Fortnite world just as they would if playing regular multiplayer. However, guest accounts and quick-play console accounts are currently unsupported, meaning that players will need to have an account created prior to trying split-screen.

Split-screen for LEGO Fortnite is currently unavailable on PC and Nintendo Switch platforms.
