Some of the most sought-after weapons in the Lost Isles update include the Flint-Knock Pistol and the Pirate Musket. However, players can also obtain the Explorer's Machete and the Knockback Shield. Though each item has its own usefulness, players may need to find and defeat Wild-Storm Tomatoes to acquire them.

Where To Find Wild-Storm Tomatoes in LEGO Fortnite

Wild-Storm Tomatoes are hostile NPCs that players can encounter on the Lost Isles. While they can be found in almost every biome, they are especially prevalent within the Jungle biome, often patrolling around Tomato Temples deep within the Jungle.

On top of Wild-Storm Tomatoes, players can also find Chests within these Tomato Temples, though they will have to eliminate all the Wild-Storm Tomatoes within the area to open them. Wild-Storm Tomatoes will also often wield the Explorer's Machete and the Knockback Shield, making eliminating them well worth the effort.

How to Get the Explorer's Machete & Knockback Shield

Eliminating Wild-Storm Tomatoes

As mentioned earlier, the Wild-Storm Tomatoes often wield the Explorer's Machete and Knockback Shield. Eliminating those who carry these weapons will allow players to take them for themselves, though the durability of the weapons they drop will be fairly low.

Unlike Skeletons, however, taking down a Wild-Storm Tomato can be relatively challenging for players just starting out, as they boast a higher level of health — similar to the likes of Storm Wild enemies in Expert Mode. To take them down quickly, players should be sure to get their hands on weapons like the Throwing Spear.

In addition to dropping the weapons they carry, Wild-Storm Tomatoes will also drop Storm Cores.

While eliminating Wild-Storm Tomatoes is a good method to acquire the Explorer's Machete and Knockback Shield, the best way to acquire them is by crafting them via the Crafting Bench. Doing so will bestow players either tool with a full level of durability.

While the Explorer's Machete and Knockback Shield are two different tools, they are similar in the sense that both can be used for a variety of purposes. The Explorer's Machete is great for both damaging opponents and harvesting foliage. The Knockback Shield, on the other hand, can both block and deal damage at the same time.

Here is a breakdown of how to use the Explorer's Machete and the Knockback Shield in LEGO Fortnite:

Weapons	How To Use
Explorer's Machete	Press the Shoot (Left Click/RT/R2) button to attack/harvest. Dishes out increased damage to foliage. It can be used to harvest Flexwood Plants, or instantly destroy dangerous plants.
Knockback Shield	Equip to the off-hand slot of the Quickbar. Press the Aim button (Right Click/LT/L2) to raise. Press the Sprint button (Left Shift/A/X) while holding the Aim button to charge.
