LEGOs are no longer limited to building blocks since players can play as their favorite LEGO-themed characters in various video game titles, like LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Marvel Superheroes. But, one of the most successful LEGO video game themes is hands down LEGO Star Wars, especially since it was the first licensed property. And since then, there have been six different Star Wars LEGO games, all of which feature hundreds of playable characters.
But, one notable feature that Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does differently than its predecessors is the number of Level Challenges and Minikits in each level. And one level that some players may struggle in completing is Droid Factory Frenzy.
Droid Factory Frenzy Main Objectives
Players that want to complete Droid Factory Frenzy at 100% will need to do the following:
-
Complete all Level Challenges:
- Challenge #1: Zipping Past Danger
- Challenge #2: Mind Control Drone
- Challenge #3: No Hanging Around
- Collect all Five Minikits
- Earn True Jedi Rank by collecting 75,000 studs
While the Level Challenges aren't too difficult to complete, earning 75,000 Studs is. So, players new to the LEGO Star Wars game series should ensure they learn how to efficiently gain Studs. Additionally, three of the Minikits can only be obtained in Free Play.
Level Challenges
Level Challenge (Story Mode) - 1
To complete the 1st Level Challenge, players will need to jump onto the last "mechanical smasher," before reaching the following conveyor belt. Once on the "mechanical smasher," players should climb up the ladder and then use the Zip Line.
Level Challenge (Story Mode) - 2
The 2nd Level Challenge requires players to Mind Control (a feature most players are unaware of) a Geonosians (Influence) and defeat another Geonosians with the mind controlled one.
Level Challenge (Story Mode) - 3
The 3rd Level Challenge requires players to rescue Padme within 30 seconds of failing into the smelter. The fastest of completing this challenge is directly going to the Droid Terminal, ignoring all enemies.
Minikits
Minikit (Story Mode) - 1
The 1st Minikit can be found as soon as players land on the droid conveyor belt. Players will need to jump onto the first "mechanical smasher" to access it.
Minikit (Free Play) - 2
Players can only obtain the 2nd Minikit in Free Play and using a Bounty Hunter. The Minikit is found after jumping onto another conveyor belt (the one that has several fire-related machinery), behind two furnaces.
Minikit (Free Play) - 3
As soon as players complete the section with C-3PO and R2-D2 (which shows how strong they are as a team), they'll find themselves on a new conveyor belt that is assembling battle droids. Players will notice one of the cranes carrying battle droids with a Minikit attached to it. To reach it, players will need to shoot the blue target with a pistol, forcing the 3rd Minikit to drop.
Minikit (Story Mode) - 4
After reassembling the control turret as C-3PO, players should aim it toward the painting (which is of a Minikit) located directly behind it. Once the control turret destroys the painting, players can reassemble the broken pieces into the 4th Minikit.
Minikit (Free Play) - 5
Once players arrive to the final conveyor belt (the section where players must build two levers) they should jump onto a full container to reach the stalled conveyor on the other side. On the other side, players will need to use a Villain Character and throw a grenade. Then players should switch to a Hero or Astromech to pull the 5th Minikit from the assembly droid.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
