Across the various planets that players will explore, they may stumble upon a rather unique-looking LEGO character from the Star Wars galaxy, who might be waving the player over, or simply someone who has a prompt upon their head.

Selecting this prompt will see players talk to the NPC, which can offer hints and insight into a puzzle, or even a secret unlock that will provide them with the necessary rumors to unlock new characters, ships, and other potential goodies.

16 Don't Rush Missions

Shorter Missions Will Have Players Rushing Through Content

The core game of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features 9 movies, from The Phantom Menace to The Rise of Skywalker. As such, players have a pretty lengthy and iconic journey ahead of them, filled with LEGO humor and more. In order to experience all of this as intended, try not to rush through it, as missions are relatively short.

The way missions work in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is far more unique than in previous games, as players only have a select amount of objectives to complete before they head through the retelling of the movie, so don't rush, and enjoy the offerings of studs and jokes.

15 Explore Space For Loot

Space Exploration Harbors Extra Characters, Ships, and Studs

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga brings forth another unique mechanic for the franchise, and players are now able to free-roam across space and the orbits of planets. Whilst it's fun to fly around in some iconic Star Wars ships in LEGO form, space exploration can also be used to unlock and find goodies.

In space, players can find a few races that will unlock their unique characters, as well as other events that will see them earn other ships and a bounty of studs that can be spent on even further rewards.

14 Collect Those Studs

Studs Are The Currency Used to Unlock Characters and Abilities

One of the best LEGO Skywalker Saga tips is for players to collect studs. The small collectibles that emerge from destroyed items, or on the right path during missions, are a great collectible to pick up due to the fact that they are the game's in-game currency. Players should prioritize their collection of studs, so they can unlock plenty of goodies, just be careful not to die with them.

This is one of many LEGO Star Wars tips that can help players get the best experience, and studs are the main focus, considering they are used to purchasing characters, in-game hints, and different star ships to fly around in.

13 It’s Okay To Miss Collectibles

Enter Free Mode to Explore Planets Across Any Trilogy

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features unique open-world designs for each planet. These areas are explorable in free mode in any trilogy, so players shouldn’t worry about leaving things behind. One of the best tips for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is to come back to collectibles with more experience.

Some character classes are vital for unlockables, and the player may not have them yet, nor the experience on how to use them. Collectibles in missions and free mode are not going anywhere, and the player can easily collect them all at a later date.

12 Side Quests Are A Side Dish

Don't Become Overwhelmed With the Plethora of Side Quests

It may be overwhelming to enter the vastness of the Star Wars galaxy in LEGO form. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has so much to offer fans of LEGO games, and fans of Star Wars, in one giant package. Each venture to a new location will see players talking to iconic Star Wars characters or ones that are subtle background characters with a name and backstory.

These characters that can be found often give players side quests, which can be completed for a reward. Players can accept all the side quests they can find, without the option to fail them. They can be completed whenever, so the player shouldn’t feel like they have to get to it straight away.

10 Start The Adventure From Any Trilogy

Upon starting a new game, players will find an interactive menu with a unique icon, showcasing an impressive, animated scene from each game's respective movie. Despite what the order may suggest though, players can start the nine-movie saga in any order they like.

Of course, those who want to play through the games chronologically should start from Episode One: The Phantom Menace and make their way all the way to Episode Nine: The Rise of Skywalker. Alternatively, however, players can pick and choose their favorites. There's nothing stopping them from starting at Episode Seven: The Force Awakens, nor from where the Star Wars journey began back in 1977, with Episode Four: A New Hope. The choice lies with the player.

9 Spend Kyber Bricks On Core Upgrades

Rare Collectibles Like Kyber Bricks Can Provide Exciting Character Advancements

In story missions and through exploring planets, it’s inevitable that players will find floating, glowing blue LEGO bricks. These are referred to as “Kyber Bricks,” and can be used as a currency to upgrade characters. Each planet is brimming with Kyber Bricks, so players will never be in short supply of them.

These collectibles should be used firstly on Core Upgrades. These will permanently increase stats. These increases include great bonuses, like extra health, dealing more damage, and an indicator to collect more Kyber Bricks for additional upgrades.

8 Use Datacards On Stud Multipliers

Stud Multipliers Allow For More Currency to Unlock More Goodies

On each planet, players can find a few Datacards. These are unique items, that, when paired with studs, can be spent on Extras. These extras can range from silly fun, like screen filters, Cantina Band Music on repeat, or having all lightsaber wielders enjoy a French baguette for a weapon.

It’s recommended that players spend the first few Datacards that they find on more practical use. For example, it's possible to buy “Stud Multipliers,” which will increase the number of studs that players earn upon collection. They start from x2, and then x4, and so on. These stack to the point where players can have a multiplier of 3,840. At that point, they'll never run out of studs for buying characters, and ships, and achieving True Jedi status.
