How to Deactivate Land Mines in Lethal Company
Disarming Land Mines in Lethal Company is a team process that requires you to coordinate with another crewmate. One player must be inside the ship to input the deactivation code, while another must be at the facility where the land mine is to scan its codes. Since teamwork is the only way to disable these land mines, having a team with you is crucial.
Here are the steps to disarm a land mine:
- Ensure one player is at the land mine location and another inside the ship.
- Next, head to the ship’s screen and switch the camera to that of the player at the land mine location.
- Ask the player at the land mine to scan the land mine by clicking the right mouse button.
- Look at the ship’s screen for the land mine codes; they’ll appear green over a faint red dot.
- Input the code into the terminal as displayed. For example, if it’s f8, type “f8” with nothing else.
- After inputting the code, the landmine will turn red to show it's disabled.
- Tell your crewmate to move away from the land mine, as this process only deactivates the explosive for 5 seconds.
- After 5 seconds, the monitor will turn green to show the explosive is active.
Deactivating explosives in Lethal Company is a great way to allow passage for all your crewmates in a facility. Alternatively, you and your team can dodge them by carefully maneuvering around them. As long as you don’t trigger the land mines, they won’t explode and kill your character. While dodging land mines requires players to be stealthy and quick, it’s a much safer alternative to deactivating the explosives.
