How To Fix The "Unable To Join Lobbies" Error

There are a few circumstances under which players have trouble joining lobbies in Lethal Company. Usually, the error occurs because of connectivity issues, so players should check that they have a stable internet connection before joining a lobby.

Most times, players are unable to join a lobby because they’re either running a different client version than the host or are running different mods from the host. In such cases, players can simply opt to join a different lobby.

If the “Can’t Join Lobby” error still persists, here are a few workarounds that players can try to fix the problem.

Run Lethal Company As Admin

When users run Lethal Company as an administrator, they won’t encounter any problems with joining lobbies in co-op mode. Players can follow the instructions below to run the game as admin on Steam:

Open Steam and Navigate to the Steam Library.
Scroll to find Lethal Company and right-click on the game.
Hover the cursor over Manage and select Browse Local Files.
Next, click on the Launcher in the game files and select Run As An Administrator.

Players can also set the game to run as admin by default. This can be done by right-clicking on the Launcher and selecting Run This Program As An Administrator in the Compatibility section .

Restart Lethal Company
