Life Is Strange: Double Exposure is a narrative adventure game that lets players make all manner of choices that can affect the outcome of the game’s story. It also lets players roam around to take in the beautifully crafted world and discover plenty of carefully placed collectibles.
Sometimes, players will be able to make a choice while freely moving around, and such is the case when needing to find a hiding spot for the bottlecap. This bottlecap will help Max discover what Safi is hiding from her.
How To Get The Bottlecap In Life Is Strange: Double Exposure
The scene will start with Max on the roof alongside her friends, Safi and Moses. A short while after Safi walks off with her phone, players will be able to take control of Max. Speaking with Moses will cause him to reveal a way that they can find out what Safi has not told them yet. This comes in the form of a game where one person tricks the other into gaining possession of a bottlecap. Whoever has the bottlecap is required to do whatever the other person says.
Moses, I have literally never wanted to play a game more in my entire life.
Once the cutscene with Moses ends, the game will pan the screen to various locations that can be hiding locations. This includes a box of candies, a snow bank, and a carton of cigarettes.
Life Is Strange: Double Exposure - All Polaroid Locations In Chapter 2
Unlike in Chapter 1, Life is Strange: Double Exposure players will need to shift between two worlds to find all the Polaroids in Chapter 2.
Best Hiding Place For The Bottlecap In Double Exposure
Now that players have the bottlecap, they will need to find a place to hide it. It is encouraged that players replay and explore the game to witness first hand all the different outcomes in order to have the best experience possible. However, some players might just want to know a surefire way to get the results they want now.
Hide the bottlecap in the box of candy. Safi will not see Max hiding the bottlecap this way, and it will allow the player to then approach her to begin a conversation. Progress through this dialog and then offer Safi some candy, and when Max pours out some of the candy into her hand, the bottlecap will fall into Safi’s possession.
Players will now be able to pry for the information they seek, or they can select the option “Fine, You win,” if they would rather Safi keep the secret. The choice made here will decide the result of the Bottlecap Game in the post-chapter summary. Here are the potential outcomes:
- Max won the bottlecap game.
- Max won, but let Safi keep her secret.
- Max didn't win the bottlecap game.
