Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings with it a new power to play around with. Max could go back in time in the first game, change something, and then return to the present with the changes applied. This time around, she can move between two different timelines, which will be necessary for those hoping to find all the Polaroids in Chapter 2.
There are five Polaroids available for players to find in Chapter 2 of Life is Strange: Double Exposure. For those unsure on how to get them, here's a rundown on where to look and what needs to be done.
Life Is Strange: Double Exposure - All Polaroid Locations in Chapter 1
Collectables are a great way to have players explore the carefully crafted game worlds of narrative adventures.
Polaroid #1 - Present
At the start of the chapter, Max will be sitting with Safi and her mother. Once you gain control of Max, head to the bathrooms, where you will be able to shift to Dead World — as indicated at the top of the screen.
Upon leaving the bathroom, head to the table that Diamond and Reggie were sitting at in Chapter 1 — the one next to the mural of a turtle with a mustache. The Polaroid can be found on this table.
This Polaroid will only be in Dead World, so make sure you are in the right timeline.
Polaroid #2 - The Great Snowball War
The next Polaroid can be found after you take control of Max in the quad. Run forward, and you’ll pass two bridges on your left side. Off in the distance, you will see a sheltered area to the left of a sculpture.
A prompt will be displayed when you get near the bench with the Polaroid. This scene lets you interact with a lot of characters, and the choices you make may be more impactful than you'd expect.
Polaroid #3 - Gwen’s Tires…
A cutscene in which Max mentions how a security guard will not let her get by will play. After this, make your way up the path, changing between timelines, until you come to a section with a railing.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure has new features that can help players navigate Max's new environment and solve the murder mystery.
You will see some benches here; the Polaroid sitting on the first bench from the corner you come from.
Polaroid #4 - Bitter And Sweet
Moses will confide in Max about Safi’s camera and that it is in his office, room 112A. Access this office through the Living World and you will find Moses working.
Switch over to the Dead World and look to the left of the door you came through, and you will see 3 blue computer screens. The Polaroid is to the left of these screens.
Polaroid #5 - Horror Movie Night
The final Polaroid for this chapter can easily be found after the cutscene where a cat meows from behind a door. The player will regain control of Max while staring directly at said door.
Do not open this door; the Polaroid is located on the desk to the left of it. Once collected, you can open the door and make your next tough choice: deciding what your new feline friend will look like.
