Toward the end of the Gizeh chapter, Indy goes to the depths of the earth to locate the Idol of Ra in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. After solving the Chamber of Resonance puzzle, players will arrive at the Temple's Gate. The gate is lined with symbols, and it's up to the players to use the beams of light to open it. However, there are a few extra steps you need to do before completing the puzzle. Let's check them out.
Indiana Jones And The Great Circle: How To Find A Lighter In Gizeh
The Lighter is an item that players must get in order to explore the tombs and mines of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. Here's where to find it.
How to Solve The Light Chamber Three-Eyed Gate Puzzle
The Ancient Gate is lined with three main ancient symbols in the middle and six on its sides. There are also three mirror discs in the room that you'll need to use to shine the beams of light at the correct symbols on the door to unlock it. However, only one mirror disc is shooting a beam of light at the door while others aren't.
So, first players will need to activate the other two mirror discs before solving the Light Chamber puzzle and opening the Three-Eyed Door in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.
Activate the Second Mirror Disc
Look on the left side of the room, and you'll spot two doors that are accessible. Heading into the first door will allow you to secure an ancient artifact if you're hunting for it, although it's optional.
Going into the second door on the left will allow players to re-adjust a mirror disc inside to activate the second light beam in the main chamber. Now, there are two active light beams in the main hall, and you'll need to activate the third one to complete the puzzle.
Find the Missing Mirror Disc
Head back into the main Light Chamber, and you'll spot two rooms on the right side of the Light Chamber. Going into the first room to the right will let you grab a Brass Mirror disc lying on the ground.
You'll need to carry this disc out of the room and place it on the stone pillar in the second room to the right. There's no need to adjust this mirror disc's position as it'll automatically activate the third light beam in the main hall.
Position the Light Beams at the Correct Symbols on the Three-Eyed Door
Now that all three light beams are activated, it's time to open the three-eyed door to solve the Light Chamber puzzle. The goal here is to match the symbols on the sides with the ones in the middle by shining a beam of light on them. Here's what to do here.
- Shine the first beam on the top right symbol.
- Shine the second beam on the symbol on the bottom right.
- Shine the final beam on the symbol in the middle left side.
Shining the light on all the correct symbols will open the door, allowing Indy a passage into the temple in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.
