Copper wire is made from raw copper in the Assembler. First, you need to farm a bunch of copper from around the map, then process it through the Assembler. For every one copper wire you want to make, you will need to have two raw copper ore. This means that you need to take however much copper wire you want to make and pick up double that number of ore. Once you have all the copper you need, you just need to process it.

Where to Find Copper in Lightyear Frontier

So, if you are looking to make a pile of this much-needed wire, you will need to know where to find a lot of copper ore. This metal pops out of the ground in rectangles of reddish-orange, and it is found in dirt mounds similar to aluminum in Lightyear Frontier. You will need to use the Saw tool to harvest it, and the copper will come back every couple of in-game days.

The best locations to farm copper in Lightyear Frontier is in the southeastern edge of the Edge Cliffs. There is a ton of copper in this area; you can get to it by going to the Meadows where you started the game and heading south.
